I was just looking for Disneyland Paris break and went into the french site. Until tomorrow they have -40% of July and August weekends + up to 12 yo stay for free. Two days tickets for both parks included. For 21-22 July stay for family of four I've paid €396 which is £349 !!! In Santa Fe hotel and it doesn't include breakfast but including booking fees. Tickets alone will cost you over €500 !!! Be quick as the deal is only live until tomorrow !!!
It's French site. Google will usually ask if you wanted it translated. If you change language on the site it will take you to English site and there's no such deal there.

I would never go on a weekend again. All the locals flock there with their annual passes and you'll be waiting 3+ hrs for all the main rides

We went last year for a week and to be honest the queues are not bigger than any other park. The maximum wait was about 30 minutes, so I don't really know where did you go to be waiting 3+ hours

Hotel santa fe isn't a bad hotel, stayed there a couple of weeks back.
It's a continental buffet for breakfast and all you can eat tex mex buffet for evening. Think the breakfast was €16 and the evening was €28, that's for adults, kids are a bit cheaper. The rooms don't have air con, only a ceiling fan which didn't do much in the hot evenings.
Takes about 5 mins on the shuttle to the parks or you can walk it in less than 15 mins.

I'm just trying to get my head around whether this is better than the 20% off offer plus half board on the UK site (going when you like) or this?
Looking to go at the end of August/September. For not a lot more we can go during the week when its quieter and get the half board package included.
Thanks anyway.

I took the family in March, saturday to wednesday. We spent the saturday in the park, it was mobbed, all the locals as was said with their annual passes, queues for the likes of Crushes Coaster, Aerosmith, It's a Small World, Peter Pan all well over 2 hours, the most popular was the Ratatouille ride, and that was just shy of 3 hours. Decided to then take the day on sunday to do Paris sights (instead of a weekday) and the monday to wednesday back in Disney was far far better, waiting times like you say, about 30-45 mins at most.

i took my wife in april 2015 on a saturday...we were there for opening, minimal queues, and had done all big rides such as rocking roller coaster by 2pm...a lot of french students go to school on a sat morning so can be quite empty...
given it was 2 years ago though

We went in April this year Wednesday to Sunday and the weekend was jammed. The Ratatouille ride, Tower of terror and 2 of the other main rides i can't remember the names of had queues of over 4 hours. We managed to get on 2 main rides on the Saturday and that was through getting a fast pass as soon as the gates opened (after the first few hours they even stopped doing the fast passes as the waiting times were too long. We even had to queue for the first ride for over 2 hours then it was just impossible without the 3+ hr wait times.
Feel free to go on a weekend but i wouldn't do it again as it wasn't much fun, just glad we experienced a few days of normality with no major queues or it would have put me off going ever again.

I go to Disneyland a lot - admittedly I just accept that it's an expensive place to go and I stay in the Disneyland Hotel as it's just easier with young kids, but I'd never go on a weekend.

Trust me you'll need that 40% after you see the price of the food. I might not be as bothered if they could make decent crepes.

Not sure I'd classify staying 1 night, on the Friday as a 'weekend stay'.
