Yet another of these marketing campaigns from sh***y Tesco! When are people going to realise this is solely to get customers through their doors? They're probably still making small margin on this reduced item, placed one in a single branch, hoping someone posts on HUKD, and BOOM. Suddenly almost every store in the UK will have curious shoppers through their doors seeking this item! Don't get caught in the web, guys!

Great find, but going to be store specific I’d guess. Looks like they’ve put it at half price and cocked up with the original price, missing the ‘1’ off the front! Suffice to say someone at your local Tesco will be on bother when they realise! Haha!

Talking of wild goose chases, I used to love playing Star Goose back in the late 80s :stuck_out_tongue:

What's your point? No one is forcing anyone off their seat. Tesco's are a business, they trade goods and services to make profits. You might be right in your statement but that's one scenario out of infinitely many. To that end, the probability of your statement occurring out of infinitely many is negligible and I can confidently say that your statement is incorrect.

Have to say it was ARSDA who started the big deal in one store to get the HUKD effect and are still its main offenders.

Sounds like good business sense to me. Nobody is obligated to buy anything.

Great find, just make sure you keep the receipt Tesco have a habit of sticking customer returns back on the shelf and selling for a heavy discount.leaving back a large steam iron which didn't even turn on and its one of many cheap duds I have picked up from them.
Any electrical item at Tesco not sealed is suspect now for me.
Heat added well spotted,do you work for Tesco the shoes.

This was at the West Brom Tesco Extra... there was two in stock but I'm not greedy so only took the one.
They also had Delonghi coffee grinders... online price was £27, yellow sticker price was £3! I bought one of these and there must have been 10 or so left on the shelf.
So, based on the comments I need to buy some new shoes with the money I saved haha.
no I don't work for Tesco... if came straight after work... and the shoes are really not that bad. Just a bad angle! ... doesn't help I'm a size 11 shoe!

Also just to add if people do end up checking their local Tesco.... this and the other reduced coffee stuff weren't with the other kitchen appliances. I found these near the TVs / radios. They where on the bottom shelf with other heavily discounted phone goods (e.g headphones reduced to 50p, 10p phone cases etc).

In defense of the poster. The point is this site would become a joke if full of non-existent deals. Funnily enough a lot of these 'store specific' deals happen to be Tesco and lately the mysterious B&M deals.
Unless a deals site has integrity, then what is the point?

great start David.Bell279 to your HUKD deal posting, causing a lot of heated debate, keep it up much better than some of the mundane buy it now at RRP before its out of stock twaddle.

I think the site is purposely unmoderated, as revenue is generated each time people click 'Get Deal'.................in the case of local deals, they just don't give a s....
