By the way, the link here seems to take you to the wrong page. I went to NRG's website and this is the link you need: nrgit.biz/pro…box

No Dell warranty, but if you trust the retailer it's a good bargain I guess.
I've gamed on the U2515H model which I think is 8ms and it's fine.

I've had this monitor for a couple of years. Excellent all round - no problem with response time for games.

Is 8 ms okay for games?

I've purchased many monitors off NRG:IT. They have always done an advanced replacement if there have been any issues. Their support is very, very good.

That's what I thought, I have a U2712H which is superb and I was looking to get another screen at some point, was just a bit baffled with the "Always buy Dell direct from Dell." line above, especially when most I've looked at have been nearly 2x the price buying from Dell, compared to Amazon (sold by Amazon) and other places.

I've had the 25 inch d model for nearly a year and had no issues with it.
If you get dead pixels (6 or more) then I think you can replace it under warranty.
The NRG warranty is advance replacement too, I have not used theirs or Dells so I cannot compare the service.

Yes, you can register your product with Dell online using the SN, u always qualify for the 3 years warranty when you: 1. bought it new and you are the original owner 2. you have proper invoice 3. you registered you product
Dell's warranty of ultrasharp series is not the same thing as NRG/retailers warranty, you can use dell's ultrasharp warranty to return and replace the item for reasons like single dead pixel, back-light leak etc which i don't think NRG would allow.

We have these in the office at work. A majority of them had dead pixel clusters within couple months

Would you not get a Dell warranty if you bought from somewhere like Amazon? Dell direct is way more expensive.

The warranty is a breaker for me on this one, Dell's Ultrasharp warranty is second to none. I know from previous use of it that they are excellent, bit like Iiyama used to be back in the CRT days.
Good price though if you dont care about the warranty.
