for the money it's great value. nothing wrong with an A10 CPU, it's more than capable. I have one in my MSI gx70 it handles well.

I don't know if anyone will see this, but were those that got this happy with it? How many scratches/dents were there? Does it run fast enough? Thanks.

Wish I had seen this earlier in market for a laptop, anyone got any other recommendations for about the same price. Anyone think Amazon prime day will throw up any good deals.?

But because the inventory changes so quickly a direct link is usually pointless anyway.

Ooops! You're right! Got the naff one instead! Thanks for pointing it out! And now can't cancel order until Monday! Tsk!
EDIT: There were four of that low-res model when I clicked buy. All gone now, so maybe I'm not the only wally who bought the naff one by mistake?

I don't think it is possible to link directly to Dell outlet products. It comes up every time an Outlet deal is posted. It's not rocket science to go, look, and find yourself, though.

If I plan to hook this up to a monitor does it mater that I can't get 1920x1089 res?
The lower res would kick in on the rare occasion I use it downstairs.

As far as I'm aware, the cheaper Dell models in this range don't have IPS screens, which may be of note to some. Otherwise, very decent specs!

I have this for on the go video editing, works fine for me, Adobe premiere does take a couple of mins extra but well I can wait. Got it in march this year and happy with it. The price is literally a throwaway price

Keep refreshing. When you add it to your basket it momentarily disappears. A lot of people will add it but won't pay and the stock will reappear.

All gone now but this was a great deal, to get dedicated graphics and an HD screen at this price is amazing. Plus there is the Dell after-sales service for a year. I missed out by procrastinating but I will definitely keep looking at the Dell outlet.
Will people who got this upgrade to a SSD?

1080p and a decent amount of ram at this price and people are moaning. For a basic workhorse laptop this is spot on for the money. Heat added.

As a day to day workhorse I think it's probably a good deal. I haven't had a PC with an AMD CPU for decades, but by all accounts this one is OK for basic use, and low end AMD GPUs are better at video decoding than Intel, so it's probably quite good for most of things you would expect a basic laptop to do. For all the knockers - lets see you post better deals than this.
