people who put up with rushed games are part of the problem, keep saying things like that like there's nothing wrong and they'll continue to rush out un optimised games

Do not buy this game! It's an absolute nightmare, hardest game I've played since Demons Souls. Finishing the levels is fine. But doing the speedruns for at least gold relics is a nightmare, and not to mention collecting gems where you have to break all the boxes in a level without dying, if you die you must quit & reload your save to try again.

If I wasn't bald already I'd be ripping my hair out! And use a controller that is expendable, it'll take a lot of damage.

Does it have local multiplayer?

Well this game was made from scratch... so I don't get your point.

This game is brilliant, well worth trying even for newcomers to the series! I started Crash 1 last weekend and I finally completed 100% - without the time trials though, those are brutal. :P It's impressive how I moved from almost giving up on the game to finally beating all levels and getting all the gems. This game requires practice and precision so no matter how impossible something seems to be at first, stick to it and you'll eventually overcome all obstacles. :smiley: If you get really stuck just a watch a video on youtube to see what you have to do - you'll still have to execute it though lol.

I then moved to Crash 2 and even though they share the same graphics engine, they still managed to make it feel unique and an improvement over the first. Such a fab game, my favourite of the trilogy. If Crash 1 proves too unforgiving for you, then I'd say give this a chance, it's more accessible and more refined than the original.

If you've linked your card it should just discount automatically? It's somewhere in the account options, I know my very first order with my clubcard didn't work but customer services just did it manually when I contacted them! Although double discount ended at 11pm there :disappointed:

30fps for a game that wasn't made from scratch isn't good enough. As much as I love CB I'm not going to be a blind fanboy and ignore its PS4 shortcomings.

When are they going to bloody redo Crash Team Racing? Now that's a game I'd buy in an instant

For a game that isn't terribly graphically demanding 30fps is a pretty poor effort from the developer. Having seen videos of the game they haven't put in as much effort as they could have

Awesome game. Have to laugh at the fools on eBay paying over the odds. Cheapest BIN is £37.99 + £1.30 P&P and bids at a similar amount!

Highly recommend it. The memes travelling around Facey B about the difficulty are funny. It is a hard and unforgiving game, as I remember them being back in 96-98. Took me a few hours to get the gold relic on Native Forest. Not looking forward to the High Road etc but know it's about practise and learning the route. Activision and Vicarious Studios have done a good job with this release, hats off to them. Buy it now!

I recommend starting with Crash 3. Crash 1 is really unforgiving and your likely to throw the controller whilst playing the level 'The High Road'.

I got it from Amazon for this price, though it was through a complex set of vouchers (big thanks promo, £5 off a certain spend etc) with two other games. Got it for release date too. Fantastic game, worth £28 and more, has more content than most full price titles and more fun too...
