This doesn't look much of a bargain to me at any price. Argos reviews tend to overstate on the positive side for things like this as their cheap products usually do the job and for long enough to get a positive review, but don't tend to be very durable.

I pay a lot more attention to negative reviews on Argos as a result, and there are enough to suggest that this is not likely to see many travel journeys. Given the small capacity it would seem to really only be useful for solo trips (as that capacity is effectively one mug).

I've tried mine a few times before I take it away and I think it's great value for money, it would fill one large cup or two small cups and works absolutely fine. For the price, for me personally, even if it only lasted one 2 week holiday , it saves me spending 2-3euros a time every morning on a cuppa in a cafe so will have got my money back after 3 days
