Ahh could be why then, I'm happy with that haul though haha. Definitely wasn't any discounted stickers or labels anywhere though.

No it's not, just being rebranded to "Zero Sugar" instead of just "Zero", those actually look like the new bottles.

Only Coke Zero is discontinued not the zero sugar one as they have rebranded it

Incorrect, they are simply re-branding it to Coca Cola Zero Sugar. as a lot of people were unaware that it contained Zero sugar (God knows what they thought the Zero meant) but that is the reason

Cool. Yesterday I found an item in Poundland that deducts £2 off your total. I've decided to just ignore it.

Those are 2l bottles, not the coke 1.75l which are newer

Coke have lately been labelling these as "+250ml Free" (That's what the white band says at the top of the label).

They are the 1.75 bottles with a % extra free, so are 2L.

And we've already had the new design and formula in this country for months now. The story that a lot of places ran in the past couple of days was a result of poor fact checking and just blindly copying US media.

Edit: just bothered to look it up, and we got the new design and formula over a year ago, in June 2016. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/apr/19/coca-cola-zero-renamed-uk-taste-more-like-coke-sugar
