Today, I went to post it, and they reduced it a further 10% (code still valid), so it comes down to £189.
I've reordered it at the price, just in case they won't refund me the difference.

I got a recently reduced Citizen solar watch from Ernest Jones. I was really surprised just what a nice watch it is. I've had more remarks about it than my Omega Speedmaster?!
I paid £89, but the same watch is £230 still on Amazon and the like. They give a 5 year guarantee, and if you register this online they throw in another year!! A 6 year guarantee on a watch got to be unheard of.

That's awesome. I largely wanted a watch that would last a while. A long warranty kind of just shows how much confidence they have in their product.
Rotary do a lifetime warranty, but you apparently need to get it serviced every few years.

If you are in the military or a veteran and have a Defence Discount card (£4.99), then you can by a gift card at a 10% discount to further reduce the price. My £200 watch cost £168 after using a code then buying the gift card.

Superb spec for the money. This is a set it and forget watch. Once set time and date will always be correct, 30,31 days and leap years taken care of, its eco drive so doesn't need expensive battery changes and reseals, power reserve indicator so you can tell when it needs some light (sunlight or artificial)
It has a sapphire crystal which is virtually scratch proof, 200m water res, an alarm(not very loud) The great specs extend much further and of course its good quality being a Citizen.

I'm not sure.
I've emailed them myself, but both got dispatched within an hour of each other. I'm going to take one back to the local near me and see if I can refund it that way. But there's no real reason they shouldn't. If not, just return it, and buy it again at the price!

fantastic price for a great watch. just checked it out on citizens website for the full spec. you m
issed out that it has a sapphire crystal as well. I must resist it my self. As I already own a citizen nighthawk a-t, but I would highly recommended this watch to anyone who's thinking of buying one.
