I've been using one of these for 6 months now and it works very well indeed.
Best WiFi performance under Windows that I have seen in any mini pc, Windows or Android based.
Removed Android as there has been no development and can easily be replaced by Android X86, which is up to Nougat 7.1RC, although I replaced it with the excellent Libreelec instead, which gives flawless Kodi performance across the board for all the file types that the SOC supports, including Dolby/DTS.
Kodi also runs well under Windows but with a dual boot, when needs are simple media based then Libreelec boots quicker and is a little zippier in operation.
Not a bad price for what it is and although runs with a little more juice than your typical Android box, it's also more reliable when it comes to media playback capabilities as long as you understand the limitations of the SOC ([email protected], No 10 bit).
Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Android 5.1 + Window 10 Dual OS 2.4GHz / 5.0GHz WiFi standard: IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac 4Gb RAM 64Gb storage SD card slot for up to 128Gb expanded storage 2 x USB 2.0 1 x USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet (from the official Chuwi site) Bluetooth 4.0 Remote control 12v/2a AC
you should probably get this one with the UK plug though

Good spot.
Tried changing the URL but it keeps going to the original page.

but you can get a lenovo 110s netbook with 11 inch screen refurbished on ebY for 130, with same processor but 2gb and 32gb which is fine for windows (i.e. a fresh windows 10 install will leave about 20gb free)
with this processor 4gb is a bit of overkill

You can't compare the two as they are entirely different things.
4Gb is most certainly not overkill and has no relation to the SOC. More memory means a better experience, especially with multiple browsing windows open.
The additional storage can also be useful for dual boot with Linux and other options.

The only difference is the throw in a fire hazard of an adapter. Box look decent for the price but a big NOPE for gearbest.

OP...I have a similar mini PC with windows (dell Inspiron 3050).....i wanted to use it as a Kodi box but likes the idea of.habing windows on my living room TV ....now I find it a bit clumsey so was considering openElec / libre elec.....
Dual.book as you describe could be ideal for me ...any tips on how to do that since it sounds like you have done it from scratch?

I can knock a general guide together that explains the steps.
Give me a day or so and I'll post something.

Would this be able to play H.265 through Libreelec / Kodi?

Yes.
I have Libreelec (Millhouse build) running as dual boot, replacing Android and it does play H265 8 bit.

I need to do it anyway as part of an ongoing usage review, so you have just given me some incentive to finish it sooner.

Anyone knows if this is sufficient to crunch numbers on an excel spreadsheet, word processing, etc?

Would this be a worthwhile improvement, put remix on it?
