This deal was on a couple of months back but then ended. I've been looking for an extendable hedge trimmer for a while but they're all too expensive or out of stock - I can't imagine this will be around for too long. Also got very good reviews!

Had a very similar one in the past. Extremely useful. Heat added.

Just buy another one. Battery is likely to cost 30/40 and this way you have a spare everything.

Argos support suggest that they are available from the manafacturer. No prices given.

These are brilliant, I bought last time it was on offer and if you're worried it looks like a cheap toy and will run out in 5 minutes, don't, because it cuts through standard hedges with ease and the battery seems to last for ages.
The only problem I found was that I wanted an extra battery so I could have 2 fully charged but I can't find any on Argos anywhere, does anyone know if you can buy a spare battery from anywhere?

I would say you get almost half that running time unless mine was faulty. I returned it

Got one of these last time. Disappointed when I went to collect it because it looked like a bit of a toy. However once unpacked & assembled it's not too badly made. Cuts hedges in a fraction of the time it would take with shears.
It won't cut through thick stuff but I easily managed to cut privet & new growth laurel - it also slices through washing lines & satellite cable with ease (oops).
Although battery life figure seems low you don't use tend use continuously so is just about adequate. Battery takes forever to charge though.

Looks good but only 35 min use from a charge, still it will suit smaller hedges.
A third off is a good deal, heat added.
