Just popped up in my camelcamelcamel notifications. bargain for this waterproof watch. cheap enough to dispose of after a few years and the battery runs out. Not to be confused with the cheaper F91W-1 water resist watch. This one is waterproof up to 50m.

Good thing about these watches they're easy to fix yourself. Last month I replaced the strap myself for £1.99, the battery is easy to replace (so long as you've got the right screw driver). So potentially you got a watch for life.

I put a nato strap on my F-91w after my strap broke and imo it looks better then the original one. It might work with this one.

Thought I'd replace my F-91W, but I need something lightweight. The product specification seems to suggest it is a lot heavier and would cause discomfort?

Ridiculous. Who would pay that much for a watch. My car isn't even worth that much.

These are £8.99 as standard out of argos I have no idea why some places (urban outfitters) try to flog them for £15+.

Are these durable? Do they get scratched easily?

They're not scratch proof. Gave one to my son for his 6th birthday and he returned from school with a noticeable scratch on the screen on his very first da. Go for a decent Casio G-Shock if you don't want a scratched up watch.

I paid £7 in Argos for this last year. I bought this for gym use. Very light and comfortable on the wrist!

I read somewhere they used to use the old f-91w's for detonators, has this particular model gained any notoriety recently?
