Be an absolute miracle to find one, but would be nice. Our current phones need replacing.

In Basildon they had one left of the model I bought and about half dozen of the single units. Good luck in finding one.

can these handsets be twinned/paired with existing setups of the same type?? to increase the number of phones attached to one line ??

Not certain but below link seems to suggest you could use other handsets alongside the BT8600 base unit.

You can pair all the handsets to a different base. Just don't plug the phone line into the base and it will act a charger.

Usually all DECT phones are to a standard called GAP. You can pair different makes and models as long advance they are GAP comparable but usually you only get basic phone features like take/ make calls, transfer calls and intercom features but probably not advanced like shared address books as that tends to be down to the maker implements it.

I doubt the call blocker can block spoofed numbers, and BT have a rubbish unsecure Caller ID system. I use TruCaller on my Galaxy S6 phone. Which has just made me think I wonder if there's a landline phone that runs Android hmm. I'm off to check that out.

I concur, I've had the phones longer than the function as I refused to pay for it and they wouldn't give it to me for free, until I threatened to leave but as above haven't had any of the crap calls since Ive been using it... its fantastic !!
