Laminated Tapes The PT-H100 uses tapes from our TZe laminated line, whereby the text is protected by a thin, clear film. They withstand water, grease, fading and abrasion, and can be used in hot and cold environments, as well as outdoors. Choose from a wide variety of TZe tapes to match your application – use Standard Laminated Tapes for general home or office applications, or use one of our specialty tapes for labeling everything from wires and cables to photos for scrapbooking. We even have non-laminated fabric iron-on tape for labeling clothes, sports uniforms, linens and more.
Great for a Variety of Applications Use P-touch® labels to help you stay organized. Categorize folders with colorful labels according to content to help facilitate quick identification and retrieval of important documents. Create a customized label to easily identify personal items. Including contact information, such as a phone number or e-mail address helps to ensure that misplaced items are returned to their rightful owners. Not sure what is lurking in that food storage container? Use laminated P-touch® labels to keep track of items in your refrigerator or freezer. Include useful information – such as time and date packed or heating instructions. Your containers can go from freezer to the microwave… even the dishwasher – while remaining legible and affixed.
Conveniently Label Cables and Wires Don't know what to do with that mass of knotted wires behind your desk or entertainment center? Tame the “wire jungle” with P-touch® labels that clearly identify each cable or cord. Gone are the days of trying to trace indistinguishable cords back to their devices. The PT-H100 offers a built-in cable labeling feature that automatically formats your labels for you – so organizing your cables, wires and cords couldn’t be easier.

As with printers, the replacement labels are what costs money, ignore the cost of the device! There are compatibies too. Always make sure you get 8 metre ones. If one seems cheap the first thing to check is if its 8m and if it's laminated. I labels every box and every drawer in my box room. It WILL take over your life, trigger OCD, but you'll always be able to find stuff.

I've tried to make my print as small as i can by reducing the margin, and label size etc etc but every time it prints, despite being set to 30mm (which is the correct length the text prints) it prints out another 25 mm of nothing to the left of it spaced in the middle with 2 dots like : (My text) Is this normal, if so it seems a waste? If not how do i change it - I think i've wasted nearly all my supplied cartridge trying to sort it out! Haha! Not a patch on my Dymo labelwriter 450 so far (but it is portable i guess)
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance

All these Brother labellers waste a lot of tape on the lead ins and outs. Print quality is blockier than it used to be, too.

I use one of these plant labels stick on pvc plant label and they last outside, print on jam jars for home made jam and workshop I label screws, nuts, washers, nails in compartments so easy to spot what size is in the containers. Cheap labels if you use unofficial labels and also set up in setup set it for margin is narrow less waste either side of label as it can waste a lot of tape otherwise

Be aware, a 8M tape for printing will set you back more than the Printer @ £15 from Currys, or £14 from Amazon. Almost entering the territory of Inkjet printers and the ink price scam
