Thanks for finding the deal (heat for that) but I must disagree with you. 0.35p is aprox 1/3 of 1p. Just as 7.5p is 7 and a half pence - not 7 and a half pounds. For anyone that has ever traded UK stocks, this would be very apparent as UK stocks are quoted in pennies and would be quoted as - for example - 12.75p which is twelve and 3/4 pence.
People that read numbers each day for a living would read this as 1/3 of a penny, therefore, though it may seem pedantic, it might save one a lot of money in the future to pull them up on it now...
Regardless, I'm going to try my luck and bring a bag of limes with me

I'm guessing it's going to be one per customer, or should I get myself a big bag of limes?

Forget the Corona, just over a third of a penny for a lime is a bargain.

That's what it said. It's been changed now.

I originally wrote 0.35p, which apparently is incorrect, I assume because I missed off the pound sign. I've now changed it to satisfy the pedants

35p or £0.35 would have been fine but 0.35p is simply wrong, nothing pedantical about it. Thanks for the info, worth popping in there, although like others I do wonder what will happen to the lime. The bin I exoect, as for health & safety reasons and tracability .....

I disagree, it's very clear what 0.35p meant. I do believe it's pedantic to call someone out on such a minor mistake. It would be like me pointing out that you spelt 'expect' wrong. Unnecessary.

I didn't dispute that it was incorrect. I just disagree with the need to point it out on a forum such as this. We're not trading stock, we're talking about exchanging a lime for a beer... With all due respect, I don't need 'pulling up' on it. I'm very aware of the rules of decimalisation, and what is correct/incorrect, it was merely a typo which I don't believe would have caused anyone any real confusion.
Good luck with your bag of limes
