Tassimo drinks machine down from £106 to £39.97 looks like it has been reduced as there is a newer model out now but it will still do the same job.

Terrible coffee. Ok for milky ones though as th coffee taste is less apparent.

Agreed - Costa tastes worse than Asda smart price because of the "milk"
Save yourself money and dont buy Tassimo if you want drinks with milk, get Nespresso

Machines are a loss leader for the pods. Get a Nespresso, more choice and cheaper pods.

Did you know the inventor on the coffee pod 100% regrets making them as the pods can't be recycled Millions/billions of the things in land fill and the ocean. Google it if u don't believe me. Every time I see a friend with one I tell them and some have sensibly stopped using.

I have one but I tend to agree with you, the wastefulness in the packaging has always bothered me. I think once my pods are finished I'll send the Tassimo to charity shop.
I've always found that the only pods worth buying for these are Espesso. Use these as a base for any other drink.
Add hot water for a black coffee (what poseurs call Americano). For milk based drinks use your own fresh milk. You can choose skim, semi or full, it's fresh, you can pick your own temperature and it's not UHT. You can add your own syrup if you wish too.

I got mine about 9 months ago from Tesco, £33! I love mine, get the pods for an average of £2.55 each. I avoid the milk ones as they don’t taste that great and you get 8 portions a pack. I bought a Dulce Gusto for the office and I would say tassimo is much better than the Dulce with more pod varieties and taste in general much better

Amazon RRP is not something you can go by since the sale price is usually the normal price.
They just put the RRP there to make it look like a good thing.

So obviously the cappuccinos etc that come in a set of 2 make the 1 cup or you can use just the coffee pods for a Base and just add refrigerated milk or can you use a milk pod?

I buy just espresso pods use skimmed milk heated in microwave, healthier latte and tastes much better, tried most drinks through the voucher offer, only use it for lattes now.

Fill the cup at least three quarters with milk as espresso is just a shot of concetrated coffee.
