Noticed the daily deal on the AHS 70-34, so thought I'd double check this again as I had bookmarked it. There were 14 back in stock so I managed to get one
Now out of stock again, worth keeping an eye on it though!

That connector looks interesting. Never seen those before.
My cable only has 2 wires though. Would it be suitable ?
I would have bought a new power lead but I can't find anywhere that sells them.

I just noticed my neighbour cutting branches from my hedge hanging over his garden and thought "I need a hedge trimmer". Came in, opened HUKD and this appeared! Great job, thank you!

After cutting the cable for the 3rd time I decided to go wireless - there are often good deals for Li-ion ones. Look out for those. if you are savvy yous hould be able to get one for around £35 - which is cheaper than the battery!

I cut through the cable on one last weekend. Managed to fix it with electrical tape.

Just tape? That's an electrocution waiting to happen. Hope you've got an earth leakage trip on your power supply or outdoor socket.
Do the job properly with solder and heat-shrink cable sleeving, or a screw-together connector , and live to see your old age.

How small is a small hedge according to Bosch? I have a 1m high (rest is covered by fence) by 10m wide section of evergreen trees at the back of the garden that is on the neighbours side. Will this be ok or would a bigger and more powerful trimmer be a better buy?

It's a great unit and rightfully, a hot deal. This hedge trimmer will do the job but with a lot of effort...perhaps too much. I would consider something a little more powerful but I can't recommend other units as I've not tried any that may be suitable.
