I've used Chromebook for a while now but this seems a little expensive. The beauty of the Chromebook was that it can use a lower specs sheet and still run pretty well. I'm currently using the Acer Chromebook R13 and I got that recently from Laptops Direct refurbished for £250, definitely more worth it in my opinion. At this price you might as well spend a little more and get a half decent Windows laptop.

I'm a big fan of the Chromebook but this sounds like a lot of money considering the limitations. I have one of the older Acer ones and was about £150. It's excellent for the money. This may have higher res and touchscreen but seems a big leap in the price for this.

Have an acer R13 currently and v tempted by this. But just not sure it's enough of an upgrade to tempt me for even this price. Better processor and lower weight, but worse battery life and smaller screen. Arghhh

Wish Samsung sold the Plus/Pro here, although price would just be silly I'm sure.

Same price but you have to deal with the US keyboard layout.

Amazon.com will charge you $601.75 with import taxes and postage. so at the current $1.29 exchange rate it's about £26.50 cheaper in the UK today and you get a UK keyboard.

But then Amazon.com have the Samsung Chromebook Plus at $500.51 - say £388 taxed and imported....(or the Pro for $635.21 (£493)). Both have near QHD screens and a stylus.

Ahhh so tempted, still much more than it is in the USA but most things are I guess
