Apparently the recommended bulb shown on the lamp itself is different to that which argos are stating on their website. Can anyone confirm correct bulb type for these lamps?

Great reviews, seen a few reviews saying that some energy saving bulbs are too long but apart from that all good.
Seems to be decent stock around me locally.

Looking through reduced items for a cheap lamp for utility room and found this. Seems great for the price.
