You can’t disagree.
I made a post about what I did with my watch on holiday.
I didn’t post an opinion, what I posted was what I did and what happened.

How do you find the battery life? How often do you recharge

how do you view the original image posted by OP in a size other than unreadable !?
The idea is, is that by not explicitly stating that it is waterproof, Apple will not be responsible for water damage as they didn't say that it was able to deal with things like this at all.
So even though they advertise it as not, it doesn't mean that it can't do it.

Dc rainmaker who is a well respected tester of fitness gadgets did some proper waterproof testing (in a pressure chamber) and found it to be much more water resistant than Apple had certified it for.

The Apple 1 is fine in water. The Apple 0 advertised in this thread is not

Hey I don't disagree about the certification at all, I got the Apple Watch the day it launched and I've showered, gone swimming etc for over 2 years and never had a problem, obviously if anyone is going to spend a fair amount of money, it is at your own risk, but they are sealed units. Also what made me use it in the shower/ pool/ sea was listening to Tim Cook when they announced the apple 1, that he wore it in the shower.

Unless you paid less than £25 then the miband 2 is cheaper. There was also a deal the other day that made the miband £15.
No really, it is not waterproof at all, they class it as slight water resistant covering slight sweat but it's not water proof like the latest model, check Apples site. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205000

Should have been the original price.

Hmm although I love Apple, I'm not really a fan of non-waterproof sports tracking smart watches. If your like me and sweat a lot whilst training , swim, prefer to keep the watch on whilst showering , pay abit extra for the latest series.

I wore my series 0 (launch day) Watch for 2 weeks away on holiday.
I swam in the pool and the sea, it’s still going strong.

Just got the Fitbit Charge 2 and realising this. Taking it off for a shower isn't an issue but remembering to put it back on is and over time these are many steps that aren't being tracked. Having said that I don't know of a waterproof equivalent for the price I paid.

It probably is waterproof but it's not certified so if it does leak (or worse still, the back falls off) you'll have no comeback whatsoever. These are also not that durable, the curved glass is a stupid design - friend smashed his series 2 and Apple wants £250 plus the broken one back to fix it...

Didn't know that, thanks for the tip

Series 0 is a bit slow, but well worth it for this price.
I would assume that from the £199 original price, it is likely to be a Series 0, although I will be happily be proven otherwise if the OP can inform :man:
