iPhone SE 16GB PAYG from O2 Refurbished Like New - Grade Perfect for £177.99.
Update: Just got mine & it's brand new with 12 months Apple warranty. Not locked - using mine on Three. Supplied in plain box with just a lightning cable & sim tool.
Available in Space Grey, Silver, Gold & Rose Gold
This is just a pay as you go phone so no credit checks, cancelling contracts etc as with the refresh deals but you do pay a little more.
Choose Classic PAYG £10 top up - you won't be charged for this. (They just send you a sim for you to top up yourself)
There's a fair chance these are new & supplied unlocked (lock to first sim) - the last perfect graded iPhone I bought from o2 was. However it's around £20 to get it unlocked online or from a local repair shop.
"Perfect phones look like they've hardly spent any time out of the box. They're like brand new phones, just not in their original box. They won't have blemishes of any shape or size. We install the latest operating system and you'll get a 12 month warranty to put your mind at ease." The iPhone SE, the most powerful 4-inch phone ever. The 12-megapixel camera captures incredible photos and 4K videos, while Live Photos brings your images to life. The result is an iPhone that looks small. But lives large.
The iPhone se is built with the same advanced chip that's in the iPhone 6s. Offering spectacular speed and responsiveness, with console-classic graphics performance, your favourite apps and games will be incredibly rich and immersive.
Why would anyone go for this instead of the refresh deal which is MUCH cheaper!

Because this is a straight purchase, whereas a refresh deals requires you to skip thru hoops and hope you don't get overbilled or have your credit rating impacted...
I've used Tesco and O2 sims interchangeably with O2 and Tesco bought phones they share the same network. I've heard O2 can lock out Tesco and visa versa, but I haven't read of an example of that being done in years. I'd have absolutely no hesitation buying this to put a Tesco sim in..

So if the first sim inserted is a "Three" sim, it should remain unlocked for any sim thereafter?

Just out of interest i thought phones on tesco were doubke locked? Tesco only. But o2 locked meant you could use giffgaff and tesco. Can you confirm this? My mum has an old nokia but even when getting the unlock code from Tesco it cannot be unlocked severely limiting what network she can choose! They said refer to Nokia but haven't heard back yet

Exactly! Or in other words, 'perfectly fine' is grade C. It seems lot of people on HUKD struggle to understand this.
1. Purchase phone and plan 2. Activate phone with SIM (just use on network to receive a call or text) or call 202 for free 3. Request unlock code 4. Pay off device in full 5. Cancel contract (line rental part) with o2 within 14 days
16gb (perfectly fine) £101.99 £29.99 plus £3 x 24
64gb (perfectly fine) £192 £0 plus £8 x 24
Just a note that a credit search will be done on you so it may effect your credit rating.
Ends 26th July
Taken from emmathews thread, credit goes to them for this deal.

Perfectly fine is 2 grades down from Perfect so maybe that's why the difference. Perfectly fine is like 'Oops, I dropped my sandwich in a puddle, it's ruined! Nonsense, it's perfectly fine'

Ordered a 16GB Perfect model yesterday and it arrived today. Looks brand new, no blemishes or scratches, front and back stickers still applied. Was unlocked, non 02 working fine without any additional cost to unlock. Bargain for £177.99.

What's the current trendy phone? I have no use for one but when I pull it out I just want people to stop say 'my god he's got it'. The other day I was mid coitus when I pulled out my Alcatel the girls involved instantly got dressed and left in disgust, it was really awkward as I was in their apartment :astonished:

Much faster and much more powerful than 5s. It is same as 6s same specs just smaller and 6s has better camera and faster finger print scanner. I have/had 5s,6,6s,7 and SE.

All O2 supplied iPhones are locked to O2. You might be lucky and get one that the previous owner has already unlocked but it's unlikely since most of these don't seem to have had much use.

Although unlike the 5s, the SE supports ApplePay. Shame about the TouchID. I went from a 5s to a 6s. Night and day in terms of speed and recognition using the sensor.

Same sensor as in 5s but works a bit quicker because of improved processor in the se.

Also be aware that the warranty for repair is a year but for exchange is just 30 days. If it starts playing up they won't let you return it until it's dead which will obviously happen after one year and day.

Wow these are everywhere currently! Definitely betting on an SE2 emerging in September.
Usual reminder that 16GB is very tight nowadays. It's doable if you stream your music, use iCloud to store photos and keep apps/games to a minimum.

collected mine from the shop today. in excellent condition, looked new. many thanks op.
I bought an 'Almost Perfect' grade for £19.99 upfront + £96 (yet to pay), so £116 all in all. Got it yesterday. About 4 months old. Not a single mark on the device. Very happy. It was already locked to O2 though.
I have contacted O2 to get it unlocked but apparently, you have to use your O2 sim in the device for about 48 hours so that the phone can be registered onto O2 network first before you can submit a unlock request. I'll try sending another unlock request tomorrow and then cancel the contract.
I am pretty sure I can get more than what I paid for it, at least according to sellmymobile.
Many thanks for posting the deal!

Got this phone yesterday really easy smooth transaction.i used o2 chat and the person I spoke to advised me to do the following. I Paid £111.99 upfront when I ordered the phone. And it was £11 a month for 24 months. The next day when my phone arrived a requested the phone to be unlocked by chat, then rang 202 to cancel my air time, I then rang my bank to cancel direct debit which the customer service op advised me to do. I took screen shots of chat and they sent me a transcript of chat just in case. The phone was in mint condition

For those scared off by 16GB, my experience is that the phone works well and with all my apps, some photos and some music downloaded for offline use I still have 7GB free. I use cloud storage for my photo collection and mainly streaming music services, which would otherwise hog storage.

Not that you were asking me but ill chime in. I ordered mine on the PayGo (didnt fancy getting the cheaper deal which involved messing up your credit rating for a bit) so £177.99 with the classic PayG sim (no extra cost) as per other comments it came with front and back protectors on and tbh the phone looks new. Has a charger cable + Sim pop out tool. I have purchased a seperate Sim Only deal to go with it (will be used by my 11yr old daughter also.
And as i stated in previous post i have tested with an EE sim and works a treat so came unlocked.

If you're ordering a "Like New - Perfect" it should be brand new & unlocked (it may lock to 1st sim). I was quoted £25 (3-5 days)from a local phone repair shop to unlock a iPhone se locked to o2. If you want to do it online the cheapest I found was £17.99 from mobileunlocked.com - visit the site from giffgaff link below to get that discounted price.
Opening post
