I think its purely down to how the discounts are being handled. Right until you get to payment the price remains at full - thus the code is being applied before the discount is for whatever reason effectively stacking them. Cheeky suspending it though.

They don't apply it as promo, so you could just use the code on another item. Had mine 10 credit added to my Destiny 2 pack and then ordered ps+ for £20. As well as taking advantage of the COD glitch.

Dude I owe you , I've not ordered the SNES mini but it reminded me I had preordered Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spiderman games for ps4, I went on to payment details and just clicked apply without changing anything and it took off an additional £10.03 on my Spiderman order , then I tried it with Red Dead and it took off £9.97

Having preordered Mario Odyssey for £38 I just went into my orders & updated the payment method on my original Mario Odyssey pre-order which had £5 discount from a previous deal & the order now has the £10 off applied to it (although it replaced the original £5 discount so it's showing as £38 rather than £33). nope, it's impossible as you don't get the opportunity to enter a code when buying digital goods or gift cards, just goes straight to payment, I think the only thing that applies is any existing gift card balance, which you probably won't have if you are buying one....

perhaps not through the automated facility, but they always will via chat IME, which is the better way to do it I find as they sort it all out for you and just email over the relevant pre-paid postage....

I could try but i also read that psn vouchers are not returnable or refundable which kinda puts me off in case I hit place order and there's no steps after that. I would end up with 40 quid of psn money with no applied discount
