Not silly at all. It'll relieve the strain on the drivers that have to deal with all the deliveries on prime day (if it's not a flop like last year). £5 on prime now will be worth it for some. Better than the £1 digital or pantry credit they normally offer!

Not getting it myself, but I have a crewed £35 of digital credit that I will use for MP3's and MP4's.

If you order soon enough or early, then it makes it more worthwhile especially if some items are only £2.50-£5 for the childrens birthdays, They then get the benefit of a cheaper film that I buy them to keep also or music.....

I still use the next day "prime" though when I need next day or have forgotten.

We don't have Prime Now in our area, so not that bothered, but the digital credits are good... :smile:

Is the option depending on the value of item? Mine was over £100.

I normally get £10 discount on Prime Now every time I create a new trial account, usually buy my new release games that way as top titles are normally in stock on release day and delivered within 2 hours.

It'll be area specific, I'm showing the offer on a £30 item and I live in a Prime Now area.

It's because delivery companies are still suffering from the cyber attack and can't create new pickups etc for delivery.

Iv never used prime now as it's not in my area but I could get something delivered to my sister who is. I tried a £2 item and it offered me £1 credit, I then tried a £5.99 item and it offered me the £5 credit

I'm in a Prime Now area, but it's just offering me the £1 digital credit. Oh well.

I've just checked this with amazon customer service and they confirmed that this not a promotion they offer. This was also checked with management and this is definitely fake deal. This may be a bug and will be investigated.

My initial order was for £4 but when I added something else on I was offered the £5 Now credit.
I've just looked at the Prime Now page and I don't think there's much I could buy to take me up to the minmum £20 spend.

PrimeNow itself has an offer on, spend £40 and you gte £10 that order plus additional £10 credit for future spend. Use code 10Now40

All my Amazon Prime deliveries are 'no rush' 4-7 days and I've never had a penny of credit. The idea of next day delivery is nothing but a pipe dream. Ah, the joys of living rural.

Forget next day delivery in North Norfolk! Whilst purchases might be advertised as Prime delivery they always take 2 or 3 days to get to me. Are Amazon phasing out Prime delivery in rural areas just like they phased out free delivery under £10?

Probably the same credit you get if you havent used Amazon Prime Now.
You may also get it for Amazon pantry or Amazon Fresh if you haven't used those.

Amazon supplied £50 bottle of whisky and just £1 digital credit for no-rush delivery and I have all Prime services in my area.

I ordered something yesterday for the £5 no rush credit, iv gone to order again today and it's offering me another £5 off. I wonder if I'll be allowed to stack both on the same order?

If you can get the £5 credit then you need to place 16 orders to get £80 (Prime is £79) - have a look for Christmas gifts, birthdays etc that you can order in good time and are in no rush for. The credit offsets the cost of Prime membership.

Unfortunately my account is only eligible for £1 credit.

Tested it a bit by adding different things and it appears that anything costing over £5 brings up the £5 free on Prime Now offer (tried a book at £5.59 and it still does it).

Would be interesting if it could cover a Prime account subscription charge (I don't have one) but seems too many variables for me to try it out.

I'm being offered this despite not living in a Now postcode - just means no point in ticking this box so will use the more expensive to them next day delivery. They haven't really thought this one through
