Amazon are giving £30 off the family plan for Amazon Music Unlimited, therefore, if you go for the monthly option you gets 2 months free.
It does say it's a for customers on the individual plan, but I've got the individual plan on the 2 months free deals that was on here couple of weeks ago.
Edit As spotted by spr111 you can just add code FAMILY to your account to get £30 credit :smile:

Go to your music prime account and add code FAMILY and it just seems to add £30 to your account . Doesn't seem to need to be upgraded to family account?

Good deal, but I've yet to see the point in upgrading. With my echo I get access to pretty much infinite music so kind as I pick a playlist as opposed to wanting to play something specific

They are pretty similar - both have 95% of what I've looked for. Having said that I moved away from Spotify once Amazon offered the £3/month deal for Music unlimited on a single Echo device - the Echo Dot is then ideal for playing through a hifi / powered speakers - complete with voice control.

(I'm a Prime Member coming to the end of an Unlimited Music subscription)
Just went to the Android App; selected option "Enter claim code" (under cog) and entered FAMILY
Then it said "Amount added to your account: £30"
Can somebody tell me what this means please? £30 to spend on what?

So THis is no longer free under prime? How many songs do amazon have compared to spotify because the last time I used amazon prime music, it was total junk?

It would have been quicker to use Google (and get an instant answer) to your questions, instead of posting here

Prime Music is still free - I think it's about a million or so songs. This is for Amazon Music Unlimited, which is about 40 million songs, on par with Spotify etc., and has always been a paid for service. HTH.

Shows under subscription renewal: On 2 Aug. 2017, you will be charged £7.99 for a month of Unlimited subscription. Given me free music unlimited until August.

THank you for being useless!
And thank you  Just done a little bit more research If anyone else is interested, this is what I found:
So basically Unlimited gives you more access to just 2 million songs but still doesn't have the depth as Spotify apparently?

Apparently up to 2 million now. But if you get 5 other people to share the cost, Family Unlimited at 2.50/mth per person is a steal imo...

I'm in the same boat as you but I think the voucher has been stopped or it's just not working for me!

What's the £30 for? Buying mp3s? Paying for further subs? Can you use it for renting movies?

Spotify is I think 25 million? Amazon has 40 million songs so alot more. That is for Unlimited. Their free one is 2 million songs.

Just double check on Spotify (not that article) and it seems to be 30 mil. SO Amaozn has 40mil? Thats good actually. So with the family plan you pay the same price as the spotify family plan (I pay 2.49 but theres 6 users) for an extar 10 mil more?

You also need to be a current Music Unlimited subscriber. A standard Prime account isn't enough.

But are you on the echo plan, or individual? This is for individual members paying £7.99 per month

So I have had the £30 added to my account but I can't see where this is stored or have no idea how to spend it. If anybody can shed some light on this it'd be greatly appreciated.
Never mind, I have just found this:
How to redeem:
1. Go to your Amazon Music Unlimited settings and click "Have a promotional code?"
2. Enter the code "FAMILY" for £30 off Family monthly or Family annual subsctription.
3. Select Family monthly or Fammily annual and click "Confirm".
4. Start enjoying your new plan! The discount will be applied to your account.
Hope this helps answer some questions

or (c) an Echo Plan to a Family Monthly or Annual Plan and receive a promotional credit for £30 toward their Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.
I did read, though I do have a habit of scanning. Will contact Amazon.

Looks like Amazon are having issues with this, code now split to FAM10 or FAM30. Where is the credit visible?

That website says 40million for Amazon prime unlimited.
Seems like it! I left my spotify account for prime. They did 99p for 4 months for the normal £7.99 a month plan.
