Actually, its quite easy to slice providing you have a sharp enough knife.

The picture is the cooked version, with some marinade. I assume no one eats raw gammon out there?

Picture looks like a joint not a steak. Also looks like pork as opposed to gammon.

Well its defo not beef like he suggested. Fried gammon and roast pork shoulder can look very similar.. the picture was just as an illustration almost like a serving suggestion.. the actual product in the pack is as found by Mr Trebs...
