Distance selling regulations mean all online orders the merchant should refund you

Don't suppose anyone's selling a pair of UK 10 ? or can anyone advise when the next adidas sale might be?

Blimey I might get these by Christmas if I'm lucky.
Tracking shows they started off in Cologne three days ago. Today they have just turned up in another part of Germany a few hundred miles FURTHER AWAY.

Really my point was meant as a tongue in cheek poke at you staying that will they learn to provide free post. "Free" delivery is always included in the cost somewhere and we've seen changes with Amazon raising their minimum spend and even John Lewis revising their fee structure.
JESUS!

I imagine a clothing / sports company who charge for delivery and returns trade is a lot weaker than companies that do.
Personal avoid them 95% of the time unless its a deal too good to be true

Or they might learn to start charging for returns?!

Adidas sizing is notoriously small. I'm an 7.5 and ordered an 8. They fit my feet.

I'm a size 10.5 UK ... Ordered an 11 and 11.5 (not of these).
Just sent both pairs of Adidas trainers back as they were way too small.
Their sizing is ridiculous.

Thanks dodgymix for the post.
Kept showing low stock but 'just sold out' for my size when clicked to add to my basket. However, I kept trying a few times earlier this afternoon and finally managed to get a pair.
I assume other people may have had the item in their basket without checking out. Then the system updated and released them or they removed the item from their shopping basket.
So persist a little if you get no joy in getting your size.

They are fine for pavement walking, I've not noticed any significant wear.

Thanks Woldranger, it's kinda what I was expecting. I'm guessing they're similar to trail running shoes.

Are these any good for pavement walking? I walk to & from work, and looking for something that'll keep my feet dry but also not be a nightmare when stepping on anything wet and slippery. Prefer a black/dark shoe. Ta

In my opinion, nope. The soles are likely to wear really quickly if you're wearing them on concrete/tarmac all the time if they're similar to the ones I liked at recently. They're also not fully waterproof.

just order 2 pairs and you get free delivery....then send one back with free returns ! Unethical maybe but then Adidas and nike etc make millions and they will still make a profit on the transaction.

Various terrex models have gtx and non Goretex
Generally terrex models are £80-£90 without Goretex and another £20-30 with
Agravit are class.. bought the last pair this am for £37... absolute steal

Sweat/salt/grime, over quite a short time, will seriously degrade GoreTex. In a short time you will have a shoe without the advertised waterproof properties, and terrible breathability because of the liner. This "GTX" shoe thing really is just marketing hype BS.
GTX itself is great in jackets and outer layers which can be kept clean, especially in very cold environments. Not in footwear.
If you're ever going somewhere seriously wet and minging, check our Lundhags (Swedish) brand boots. Brilliant.

No, these are without GTX liner. Just synthetic/mesh and leather. They are quite weather resistant and have happily tramped all day across soggy ground. I will never, ever wear Gore Tex lined shoes again personally.

I'd say go half a size up, as with a lot of Adidas. Particularly if you're going to wear a merino wool sock (Darn Tough, etc.)

Are these the same as the GTX?

I have these and really recommend them. Bought them for long distance hiking.
They are quite tight in the toe box if you have freakishly wide feet like mine.
