Had this speaker too...over priced pile of kaka....returned mine too. Never worth £250!!. I do however have the Creative Sound Blaster Roar 1st gen BT speaker, which is brill! This however has now been replaced by my new sony srs xb30 speaker....which is really rather good too :O) Roar to appear on Ebay very soon :O)
To be honest, I will never buy a Creative product again due to their horrendous customer services. Plenty more better speakers out there....
