I ordered these off amazon a year or so ago when I was moving flat, I wanted some decent boxes to keep organised with. I ended up having to return them as the boxes came smashed to bits inside a pristine cardboard box, I ended up looking around and got them cheaper in store at my local homebase, and it included a free one extra.

A long time ago when I worked delivering pies, I witnessed an a garage mechanic apprentice come in to where I work and ask for a bucket of steam. I watched as my boss poured a bucket of nothing in to the apprentice's bucket and say whoah careful don't spill it. Some how I think that apprentice was duped by his boss in to coming to us for a bucket of steam.

Anyone know if these can be used for storing 12" vinyl's?...I need to organise my record collection and put away those that I don't currently play much. I know they do a 35L XL with a taller lid...but its more expensive! Thanks.

No, they are too low. You need the 35XL (I have LOTS of those from a deal on Rymans last year). The 84L will be tall enough I think (I have never tried) but then you would not be able to move it when full.

Find a deal on the 35XL for 12" records. You will not be disappointed.

Edit: They also do a 35XXL which has additional height for dividers, but I think that's only via their own web shop. Comes with dividers though!

Do the government make these? They'd love to tax the air we breathe. I am surprised they want to take Diesel cars off the road. I suppose it might give them more reasons to make electricity from coal reducing o2 in the air faster and the circle begins...
