Looks like one I bought on ebay and got a refund on cos it only worked at usb 1.1 speeds despite being sold as a usb 2.0 device. At least the amazon page isn't pretending it is usb 2.0, although you have to check the description closely to see that it is only usb 1.1.
Transfer speeds for usb memory sticks would be achingly slow with this, and some devices, like tv tuners, won't work at all.

It's not as good as that. I bought one previously. Acceptable for v low power items and / or low speed transfers. Occasionally isn't recognised by the client.
