I don't normally go for these offers as I won't buy something for the sake of the bonus but i happened to be ordering something anyway but I can't be bothered with the hassle,I see the TCB rep has disappeared lol

Sadly this is all part of the plan to make the bonus almost impossible to claim, note for future reference, unless the bonus is £20 it is not worth your time and hassle trying to chase it up. Just use Quidco instead who respond to bonus queries in a timely fashion and honour them without making you jump through hoops and raise confusing claims etc with 10-15 days between each liaison.

If I lodge a missing cashback claim it's saying the estimated cashback is 0.49p

I'm not sure how you lodge one for the 2.50 bonus,any ideas people as obviously it's not 0.49p?

I made purchases on eBay totalling £15.49 on eBay and then paid for both items together via Paypal in one transaction via shopping basket.

My email from Paypal confirms “PAID : £15.49 with PayPal ” but my bonus has not been confirmed!

The purchases have been recorded as separate transactions on TCB.

I’m so frustrated with these offers where it seems there is ambiguity and customers get caught out where they genuinely think they are following the terms of the offer.

The last time I was caught out by the VAT trap!

Ebay is a reliable tracker but does normally take a couple of days to show tracked on TCB

My wife's purchase tracked & shows the TCB £2.50

Mine tracked but does NOT show the £2.50.

If you are in the same position, you need to submit a support ticket. The good news is: TCB will add the £2.50 manually and it is immediately payable - whereas if it tracked successfully first time round, you have to wait for the original item to go payable before you get your £2.50.

How long do the bonuses take to go "payable"? I have two previous bonuses where the transactions they were based on have gone to payable, but the bonuses haven't. Plus anyone use eBay last night? Not tracked for me yet, wondering if that was normal - most things track very quickly through TCB.

Maybe next time. They do offer quite a lot lately (eg at May £2.5, at June £5), however it always lasted within a pretty short time frame so let's keep checking.

I've tried a couple different browsers, and the firewall doesn't block quidco tracking so I'd think that shouldn't be an issue - only had issues with one website from quidco but unfortunately it was a lot of purchases and claims are pointless so been disappointed with them but otherwise it tracks flawlessly. I'll see how the claims go, if they're handled better then it'll be fine in the end.

We do not do this deliberately, we have to work our bonuses etc within the standard merchant tracking. Some merchants do not track VAT and therefore the track at lower than the minimum of £10. We do put on merchant pages where we believe the merchant doesn't track VAT.

Make sure you spend well over £12 as the way TCB maths work £12 is less than £10 when you take the VAT off. They scammed me out of this last time and as they planned, I completely gave up chasing it. Quidco all the way, at least they paid out their bonuses (after multiple emails).

Please remember it can take 7 days to track and therefore there is still quite some time before we know if this has tracked or not. It may be worth checking your firewall settings if you are having issues to see if that is blocking your cookies. You may even try a different website just for Topcashback purchases :smiley:

Looks like I've had issues with tracking again despite clearing browser etc. Will have to wait and raise a claim but if these are as successful as Quidco I won't be getting anything from either purchase. :disappointed:

TCB will pay you the £2.50 but you have to submit a support ticket explaining you paid in one payment transaction

Will this deal work if I purchase from two sellers on ebay (but pay them at the same time via my shopping basket)?

Ebay and paypal send a single email confirmation with the total amount paid when you do this. However, in my Topcashback account, it seems the purchases are tracked individually when you pay multiple sellers at once.

Please can someone clarify?

Edit: i.e. buy something for under £10 from two sellers, but the total is above £10.

Ordered some pizza last night after activating this offer. All tracked in minutes and the £2.50 bonus is already showing.

I think this is supposed for any retailer provide cash back on top cash web site (please anyone kindly correct me if I am wrong). Make sure you activate the offer first before doing any shopping.

I find TCB much more reliable. More importantly, whenever I have had an issue it has been sorted. Unlike quidco who I find obstructive to the point of avoidance of payment.

If you think that is annoying, compare Hotels.com prices when going via Quidco and then via TCB/Incognito Browsing session.

The prices via Quidco in NYC across the board were over 10% higher than the prices for the exact same rooms going via TCB. I have been with quidco since 2004 but simply don't trust them anymore.

For some reason I get untracked on chrome not IE.

Didn't track first time I used them but decided to give it a second chance as Quidco always decline claims despite proof and don't allow negative feedback. Some Quidco tracking rates are very misleading, especially the higher rates that never seem to work.

Mine has tracked but the waiting time that the merchant states as should be payable has now passed by & TCB won't pay the bonus until the merchant pays the cashback.

Unlike Quidco, last two bonuses paid out from TCB without having to chase them. I guess it's different for everyone and others don't have issues with Quidco. TCB also seem to pay out much quicker for me,

got both ours (his & hers a/cs) but logged a support ticket for each of us to resolve it, didn't get given automatically even though the purchases tracked successfully

I am sorry to hear your transaction went on to be declined. As i am sure you can understand, if a merchant tells us the commission to us is being declined we do not have a choice but to pass on this decision to our members. I do need to mention that our members get at least 100% of the commission we get for referring you to make a purchase. If a transaction is declined it means that commission has been declined to us. However, should the member disagree with the decision I would advise them to lodge a claim. We then can take this to the tracking network and the merchant for review and we will do everything we can to get this overturned.

We do not like declined transactions as much as our members do not like them, but I am afraid they are decisions we have to pass on if they are made.

Absolutely shocking company. Did there three mobile deal a few months ago waited ages then they said three had rejected the claim. Strange as followed all the terms and conditions and I'm still on the contract. Would say avoid them at all costs as zero chance of getting money out of them...their the only winners in referring you to suppliers

If you need to lodge a claim, as long as the offer was activated and as long as the terms were met you will be awarded this and you just need to post on the claim or in a fresh support ticket if your claim is resolved successfully.

While no cashback site can force a transaction to track, there are some things you can do to help tracking such as clearing cookies before logging in, only using one web tab and ensuring ad blockers are disabled.

I'm still waiting for my £2.50 Easter bonus

I activated this before I saw it on HUKD. Agree with comments that TCB are more reliable than Quidco with who I have had to spend a lot of time sending e-mails back and forth to get cashback due from Quidco, particularly on bonus offers.

The majority of my purchases never track, and then I have to go to the hassle of raising a ticket in the hope that I might finally get the cashback about 3 months later. This last happened at the weekend with the £5 'bonus' on a £10 spend at selected sports retailers. I raised a ticket, but the bonus wasn't included. I wouldn't have made the purchase if it wasn't for the bonus. What a joke.

I agree. In my experiencce, Quidco are much slower compared to TCB.

Will this still work if I wanted to purchase something from 2 DIFFERENT merchants i.e £7 at Argos and £6 at Wiko?? Or do I have to spend £10 in one go at the same online store.

Looking at my record, have had more declines with Quidco than TCB, including Sky, which TCB paid out on, furthermore I find it frustrating that Quidco won't let me put negative comments on the retailer feedback, only want positive feedback in order to create the impression that Quidco is great at getting all your cashback.

As with other cashback sites, we're only able to pay out if the merchant and their tracking network deem the transaction as eligible and us as the last referrer. We'll be happy to look into this if you submit a support ticket.

If your transaction is successful this will be awarded. The only reason the bonus will not be awarded is if the merchant declines the cashback as ineligible. If this happens you can normally claim and if the claim is successful we will award the bonus.
