I have no experience of this product so apologies in advance for any inaccuracies. However poundland sell spools of strimmer cable for a pound. They had three different thicknesses ( i think 1mm, 1.5mm & 2mm). I removed the spool from my B&D strimmer and just wound this around the spool and it works a treat. I went for 2mm and it breaks less often than B&D own brand. The strimmer cable is the platic red style that looks like Strawberry laces sweets and is 15 metres long.

I picked mine up.
I have 3 decent sized gardens, and had to do around the edge of them. It took just over 30 mins! Good job! Mine did slow down near the end but all good!

Not true!. I have the hedge trimmer which uses the same battery and used it for over 20 minutes continuously and still has charge in the battery. I have now bought the strimmer based on my positive experience with the hedge trimmer and now have a spare batter for less than the cost of a replacement battery! Absolute bargain.

I expect that people are thinking that this will last as long as their li-ion drill when in reality, if you sat with your drill running for 20 minutes, you would probably see it die in the same'ish time period. I just think that people forget that a strimmer running for 20 minutes for this price is exceptional.
To update, i did the front lawn today with the same charge as yesterdays work on the rear garden and it was starting to slow at the end..........it didn't stop, it just slowed slightly........that's somewhere between 20-25 minutes and hardly a ball breaker too as I just did a full charge in under an hour.
True, the £200'ish Makitas etc will last longer.......but..........£200+

I have no idea why people make unsubstantiated comments like this (but I have noticed it often happens). 'muffboy' has no experience of this item (which is very obvious from the comments by real owners) but still feels moved to make an unhelpful comment.

You're getting mAh and Ah mixed up - 2Ah = 2000mAh

Crazy to see these still have 2Ah battery when Xiaomi phone 1/10 its size have 3.5Ah !! I feel in-competitiveness from DIY industry not to follow standard of USB charging and battery compatibility to mobile phone standards and re-inventing the wheel.

I used mine tonight too since I picked it up earlier and it can't be faulted for the price. Maybe after a year or two it's getting ropey but as pointed out above, it's cheaper than a battery for more expensive models.

Cobblers.
I ran mine for about 25 minutes earlier on the first charge.............still showing ~50% on the battery but that is probably far from accurate.
Regardless.

Well I bought one earlier and I'm more than happy. Had a cabled one, but never use it because its too much hassle plugging in extensions and fighting with cables. When I seen this I thought for £35 quid it was too good a buy to pass up. Battery charged in less than an hour and then I done both gardens with it without any problems whatsoever. It cut through all the edgings with ease and strimming wire is auto feed so there's no faffing about trying to extend it when it breaks.
Thanks OP

Asking for help.
Seeking a cheap (wired) grass trimmer - with cheap lifetime cost of ownership - and a self feeding spool - that is easy to replace cheaply.

Ok, just collected it. yeah, its a Mac Allister model.
Put it this way, its WAY cheaper than replacing the battery in my Black and Decker one which is getting weak, it is Li-Ion as opposed to Ni-Cd and it has a 2 year warranty......
......for 35 quid.
pretty solid imo.....will let you know if its good in couple of hours......sunny in NI for once
