Interesting to see what happens now I guess.
They should have been 80p per bottle according to advert, I expect a refund for the difference or I am happy to return them I guess.

Definately.
Personally Id make my own dextrose and whey protein shake. Was just trying to point out that 50g of fast acting sugars after a workout does have advantages.

There are much better ways to restore glycogen stores than smashing a sugary milkshake down your chops!

The idea is you use these after strenuous exercise or working out when your body is depleted of glucose and glycogen.
The the glucose is to refill your glycogen reserves, aid recovery and start the growth process.
Glucose definitely has its place in sports nutrition.

Considering everyone is lactose intolerant to some degree, downing 50g of lactose sugar seems like a bad idea for more than just health reasons.

Yeah, this would most likely kill me. There are so many healthier ways to get your post workout carbs. With sugar being 4 calories per 1 gram and an rda of around 150 calories of all sugars per day, these drinks are well over the recommended amounts. Just have some vegetables people!
