You should be able to cancel within the 30 days if you aren't happy with the product. The product was not suitable for me and I cancelled within 30 days. That wasn't a problem with me. It is a problem with ID Mobile for being incompetent and providing a product which didn't do what it claimed to do. And then to take the maximum money from my account for no reason other than the direct debit mandate allowed them to do so.

You can cancel within 30 days, but you'll still get billed for the next full month. Like I said, it's the same for all the rolling contracts - this. isn't an issue specifically with ID mobile

Please don't do it. If you think other companies are bad - these guys are crooks.

when I cancelled within 30 days they wanted me to pay for the following month too and when I refused to pay they got a debt collecting company to chase me. When I refused to pay that they gave me a bad credit rating.
Even though I cancelled and told my bank to cancel the direct debit they still managed to take over £100 direct from my bank account.
Crooks.

When you say, 30 days, are you meaning you assumed that you could get the sim for 30 days in total? If so, that's not an error with ID mobile, that's your mistake - all of these so-called, 30 day rolling contracts, involve you having to give a notice period of 30 days. Meaning that you can't just take it out for a month and move on.

Avoid ID Mobile like the plague. Took weeks to cancel a contract and then they still took more money from the now closed account. I wouldn't say this about a lot of companies but their customer service is appalling.

It's a 30 day contract, you pay by direct debit or pay via your account sooner if you like.
