What's this shareware site like with your email? Is it actually unsubscribe or will my email be spammed to death?

It's the same offer so you're signing up to the same thing, I guess you only need to register with a different email to get as many 100GB chunks as you like.

Got this when it was posted last month. Seems to be okay. I went through the Zoolz website. One account per email.
I have a couple of mega.nz accounts, 50gb each, good connection speeds, no need to look for deals elsewhere.

I'd personally use something like Arq backup and a supported cloud drive (such as Amazon, Google, OneDrive), so anything i'm backing up is encrypted before it leaves my computer and only I have the key to decrypt it.
Don't start uploading your personal files to an unknown entity, not that I would upload stuff to Amazon or anywhere else before encrypting them.
this is cold storage if im not mistaken? why cant people just fast archive it with a password? takes but a minute

Guys it's a scam/privacy concern. Read the reviews, the client doesn't actually backup your data, they were caught spying on somebody who saved a torrent FILE (not actual torrent, just a link to) to his account. Get an external drive/nas or pay for real cloud storage. ☁

it's not a "scam" and they do backup your data.

As usual, if you're not paying for something then your data is what's being sold.
If that happens then the internet as we know it today has been broken, until then i'm happy with my encrypted files.

Very valuable for some big international gangs to keep the encrypted smaller files and then crack them in 10 years' time. One got to be daft to rely on encryption and not keeping personal files on one's personal hard disks and then lock them up since 3x 2TB hard disks is plenty to keep 2TB files in triplicates. No such thing as a free lunch, the hosting company has divine admin level control of data with reams of terms and conditions which no one reads.

How legit is this company? I mean you can't argue with free but it'll be all my photos and stuff?

For $49.00 a great deal in my opinion.
