We went last year after a kind relative bought us a family pass for Christmas. It is the worst 'attraction' I have ever been to in the U.K by miles. Completely boring except for the 4D cinema. I can see how the tour would have been exciting when the factory was operational but now it is just static machine sat behind a plastic screen lol. There is a rather freakish cart ride through a load of talking coco beans that would be the kind of thing Micheal Jackson would have enjoyed it is so weird. Anyone expecting willy wonkers chocolate factory will be very disappointed ! So glad we didn't pay for it but still disappointed as I had wanted to take the kids there for years :disappointed:

...I live closer to Cadbury World in Harborne. If you don't mind the walk you can work your way down from the hotel all the way past M&S(personally I like going through the cathedral between colmore and temple row because i find it relaxing, some decent stores that way too) to the Albert Street bus stops and take the 63 up Bristol Road. Stop after you see Sainsbury's to the right and take the number 11 to Cadbury World. Daysaver is £4.40 i believe. Sounds like a bit of effort and the fares will add up, tbh. You can't do that much in 1 night if you're spending half the time going to and from places.

Trying to buy this and the code only discounts 15%? Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Its very expensive to park at this hotel, and you need a car to get to Cadbury world. We did this deal last year.

You don't need a car at all, New Street station to bournville is 4 short stops, takes about 10 minutes, trains run every 10-15 minutes. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the station to cadbury world, suitable for all people.

I'm always concerned if you can get the dates you want on these. Note on certain weekends they have extra entertainment on, Sooty comes about once a month and I think other stuff. Son loves Sooty so worth it for the five times I saw the show.
But it isn't Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but it's a fairly decent day out for the price. Compare it to a Sea Life Centre!

Going to Cadbury world soon with some family members. Don't know what to expect. I went to the Haribo museum in France and it was pants, just had TVs showing the production and history instead of anything really happening. Hope it isn't like that.
I think the ideal is Willy Wonkas' chocolate factory but that is make believe lol.

It's really annoying when the cost is split between people which include children. It's not as if the children can pay for it. It should be quoted per paying adult.

Cadbury world 4 stops on the train from Birmingham New Street and then 5-10 minute walk so decent price if happy to use public transport. Hotel handy for city centre and lots to do there.

We went to cadbury world a few months ago. One of the biggest waste of time and money I have been to. If you are close to the place it is fine but if you have a distance to travel I would not bother. Very disappointing.

It doesn't say until when but...
Please note that the Packaging zone is currently being refurbished but is still partly open to visitors. A static production line can be viewed, along with a video interpretation of the manufacturing process.
This is one bit of factory you actually see the chocolate as part of actual process....a static line and video is nowhere near as good imho.

So is this looking to be £109 for the 2A/2C deal? No kids free sort of thing?
What do they define as a child? I have a 6 month old... Would I have to pay for him at the hotel as he'll be in our room?

Even in the pantheon of Groupon poor deals, a hotel miles away from the attractions stands out as another cut and shut deal
