Between 9 - 15 June you will be able to download and try Gears of War 4 for 10 hours. Full game and all the modes, any progress including achievements will be carried over if you decide to purchase

Good luck trying to install this on Win10 - must have taken me 5 attempts to download this on 8mb ADSL on release, back when this was around 50GB in size. Not sure if it has improved but the Windows Store downloader was a mess!

Awfully boring game with awful optimisation for lower spec PCs. Not worth clearing space on my disk for this X)

No worries mate, didn't want you downloading 100gb+ on the assumption that it was more than it is.
great if you play multiplayer, however

From June 9 to June 15—or possibly longer, a point of confusion we'll get into below—a "limited time trial version" of Gears 4, with the first act of the single-player campaign plus full access to the Versus and Horde modes, will be available, offering up to ten hours of cumulative play time. Progression earned during the trial will carry over if you purchase the full game, and special bonuses for new players including "guaranteed characters, weapon skins and new Horde Skills" will be granted as well.
So to answer your question - yes, I'm fairly sure you'll be able to complete the first act within the 10 hours

Just to add, for anybody intending to play this limited demo. Please don't use the first act as a benchmark for the game. It is absolutely terrible, it completely bored the hell out of me. I almost gave up the game completely due to it.
The game does however pick up through chapters 3-4 and really is a great title and a must play in my opinion.

Depends on what difficulty you play on, I've been stuck on Act 3 since it was released :stuck_out_tongue:
