So is overwatch in my opinion but everyone thought it was decent because it had Battleborn to compete with, to me neither had much conent and didn't deserve the price tag, hell Overwatch got GOTY and had about the same amount of content as Batflefront. just my opinion though

like the last 2 comments, I wanted to try this game but I didn't want to buy it yet as there were quite bad reviews.

Just played a few matches, training, etc for like 1 hour, and I don't know why, but I found it pretty bad... I think this might have been a one-off experience :smiley:

I got the disc in Argos when it was popping up on HUKD on a weekly basis around Christmas time.

I've played it for like 10-15 minutes before quitting. Will check if I got the Founder pack :smiley:

Played it a few times with my boy, different game since the update. Great fun in multiplayer for a quick blast. Amazing for free.

can we still earn Trophies and Achievements for those Hunters?

This is actually a very good game with a lot more depth than Overwatch, don't get me wrong, I like both quite a bit but this has a lot more to it, I stopped playing it a good while back though as there were no players, I may go back to it and see if it going free actually boosts the player-base or whether people are so fed up of games like Paragon, Hawken, Paladins, World of Tanks, Star Trek Online etc etc etc and their annoying micro-transactions and unlocks via in game currency that it flops for the second time.

Bring on Borderlands 3.

I clicked Trial etc... and had £24.99 come out my bank, just got off the phone to them for a refund.

That's pretty cool. I played it a bit when I bought it for my sons. I enjoyed the game and really it was just unfortunately timed with its release.

I bought it late last year when it was £2.99 in game (new + founders pack) and enjoyed it but that was only when i could play it. I spent more time in the menus than in a match. The grind to unlock a character you might click with was too much for me to stick with so i went back to Overwatch after about 2 weeks. It really isn't a bad game though.

Played it once. I feel it's similar to overwatch, if you're into that sort of game, which I found out very quickly I'm not. Hopefully this'll bring some people back to playing it, as I couldn't find anyone online.

Just played a few games. It's not hard to see why it failed. Steam version takes up 43gb as well.

it was a decent enough game when I played beta but it couldn't have chosen a worse time to launch.

Played the Beta got bored within 20 mins. Heat for free tho. but only a little. Maybe 0.2 degrees cheeky

I honestly don't know where all the hate is coming from apart from thinking that it's exactly like overwatch and not liking gearbox. I hope this will give a second wind to this windless game as it is nowhere near as bad as people say so.

I find it funny how Randy the lying Pichford is arguing with people on twitter that its a "trial" and not "free to play" like most people predicted over a year ago.

They have left it way way wayyyyy too late for this step, I will give it a go but I know I will play Paladins more.

It's strange we have to wait a whole week while the US have it on their store right now (PS4)

As long as they have the money to keep the servers up. You only get 6 heroes(out of 30) at a time to play as free to play.
Might give it a go now it's free. Has 275 people online on PC according to steam charts :smile:

Reckon it's too late to get founder on PS4? it's been sat on my shelf for about a year unopened

I hope this gets the game a bigger audience. Battleborn really suffered from Overwatch comparisons, and Overwatch is indeed a better game. But they're quite different really, and Battleborn is pretty decent overall.

But... then i gotta install it... Titanfall 2 keeping me occupied atm but ill prob give it a whirl tonight.

It's probably best staying on the shelf to be fair :smile: I squeezed about 20 minutes out of it. I still own the disc version, but that's only because it's worth about 20p in Game.

I'm not sure how the eligibility of the Founder's bonus works, but it might be worth throwing the disc in the console just incase?
