I got this deal on release day and the one X has been announced. Why is this still the same price?
Having said that, you still get a lot for your money, e.g. powerful console, quiet, and uhd player.

True, sometimes better deals come about which include an extra controller 2 new games worth trade ins of around £20 each and fifa or forza with the console dlc for £219 for the 500gb. I bought the Very deal though :smiley:

Since Britain decided to be Great again the pound went the other way we all would wish for and this might have some impact on the price I guess.

I bought a similar bundle from Curry's on the 26th June. I just rang up and they price matched the £20 discount code. Forza bundle, 3 months Xbox Live & blue controller for under just under £215. Brilliant service.

Forgive me for wading in here on the preowned deal topic - I would rather not buy preowned however, the £150 deal was a cracker for anyone, of which there must be many - look at success of shops like CEX - that are happy to buy preowned items. This deal here is of no more financial value. Yes I have heated this too but I would bet Fifa and an extra controller can be sourced for less than £50 (but probably not sold for it) and that is assuming you have to have them.

If you buy brand new and it blows up in 13 months time, you'll have a far easier time claiming for a repair/replacement under consumer rights act than you would for a 2nd hand item that could be several years old (granted the S model will be 1 year old at most, but that would still be 25 months old at time of it blowing up).

I agree that if your Xbox One S, less than 1 year old at time of buying it, blows up shortly after the expiration of the 12 month warranty Game are offering with it, you may find yourself wishing you bought new.

Oh just **** off stop blaming brexit, Brexit is good, Britian is still one of the largest economies, I havent seen any deals like this on release, maybe he is talking about the original controller not 2 controller (one is blue)
