Totally, price been dropping since, launch, even around launch time you could get them for £199 shopping around. I wouldn't sell mine even if I got an Xbox One X as it would barely be worth it, as everyone else will be doing it driving prices down more, will be total buyers market for them, more useful as a 4K bluray player and occasional gaming in a second location. Plus as it will still play all new releases it would do as a backup in case the (hypothetical) One X failed....

Watch out for for a faulty fan. This model has had many complaints of the buzzing fan noise and I was unlucky enough to buy a new one that did it also. :disappointed:

No not worried, annoyed maybe!? Took my faulty fan one back to Game, they tested it and claimed it was perfectly normal. Luckliy it was early on in the S lifetime and so I traded it in there and then for £200 (£12.50 loss which I recouped in a subsequent and unconnected complaint) telling them it's on them for taking it in and selling it on to an unsuspecting customer .. they didn't seem bothered.. got another from them recently though which is quiet as a mouse.. thankfully

Shame there is very very little out there that is Dolby Vision, I would not get hung up on what it can't do rather than what it can. Sony does a dolby vision player with no discs for £360 is really that big a difference or just marketing ?

I hear a faint buzzing sound from fan. Not overly distracting but certainly there. Should I be concerned? PS4 (first batch) can hardly be heard.

You guys obviously have something against buzz, he has had deals that haven't gone so hot so no, people do not just vote hot because of who posts it. He also already mentioned other new bundles are around for slightly more, he's simply giving people more options. FIFA has been as low as £8 so it's still a £32 saving over buying new, which if you didn't know can get you multiple pre-owned games for that. I'd buy a second hand game even if it's just a couple quid less than new, a saving is a saving. If you don't think it's a good deal then just vote cold and move on.

Man I wish I could get £150 for mine. Less than a year old. When I've looked on gumtree there were a few at that price with games so I thought I might as well keep mine.

If you look on You Tube there are a lot of complaints. It's the bearing in the fan that's not correctly fitted. The buzzing drove me insane so took it back and bought a PS4 instead as didn't want to risk getting another bad one. The high pitch buzz noise seem to get louder as the console heated up whilst playing.

Does not surprise me at all that Game didn't pick up the fault. Some of the staff are weird and clueless. I once spoke to a member of staff in there that had never heard of Ocarina Of Time. :smile:

The debate is whether the deal is good enough to buy second hand over the great deals that buying brand new offers. Personally i think you'd be crazy to buy preowned consoles unless you get a much bigger saving.

Blue ray was the old standard this plays Ultra HD Blu-rays.

Tested, receipt, warranty, a place to take it back? Yes there are cheaper ones on gumtree and eBay but the state of them internally is anyone's guess

I've never even heard of Buzz but I know why this is a good deal. It is a good deal bcos it is the cheapest an xbox one s has even been from a major retailer.
Also keep in mind, not everyone wants to buy a more expensive bundle and then go on to sell the games they dont want, even if it's as easy as walking into cex. Some people don't have the time or the inclination to bother.

Not terrible but not great. Personally if folk are serious, I'd punt for new or at least aim for 1TB. Managing games with 500gb these days is a nightmare.. even for a part time gamer like me.

Something wrong here. A dreadful deal as you can buy a new machine with a 2 year european warranty (while we are still in the EU) for £30 to £40 more, including Fifa 2017 at Zavvi. Why take a chance on such an expensive second hand offering. Cant believe this has scored so high.

The OP has HUKD fame and yes that's part of it, but that's not the only reason this got to 1300 plus. Other reason is that it's on the highlighted deals tab for gaming which is the revamped HUKD PICKED. This means it stays on the front page of gaming until its expired. Further proof that HUKD PICKED system (and it's replacement highlighted deals) create inflated and artificial heat on average/bad deals. They do create more revenue for site owners though because people think they must be getting a bargain (1000 degrees!? I better buy it before it's out of stock!)
