The Asda store at crown point in Leeds was selling these off, not sure why, I bought 2 and activated them both this evening. Fully legitimate,

Not at all - they are simply clearing old stock to make way for new lines - they (and other shops) do this all the time as old stock is taking up space that could be used for other items that will bring in more revenue. They also do the same with pack design/size/range changes as seen with the sweet aisle reductions.

It appears to be this card design only - the card that says 3 months in large type (not as indicated in the photo) scans at £15. So check displays for any old cards.
