Seconded, it's a superb remaster and a great technical showcase for the PS4 and PS4 Pro especially (native 4K with motion blur off). Really shows how these remasters should be done. The funny thing is whilst I appreciated it's graphics and style I never actually got on with Wipeout that much in it's PS1 heyday always finding it unforgivingly difficult but I'm loving the remaster and it seems to have a much gentler difficulty curve on all three of the games included. Still bloody hard later on though.
Would urge people on the fence to just buy it at this price, the devs really deserve rewarding for putting out such an excellent game at such a reasonable price. For the level of content, polish and fan love for Wipeout they could easily have gotten away with charging full rrp for this but chose not to, good on them, let it be an example for others....

Yooka Laylee hasn't budged an inch, much to my annoyance! Neither has Stardew Valley or Outlast Trinity.
This is an excellent collection. Graphics are amazing and it plays well. The soundtrack feels great at first even if you're not really into electronic music, but the track selection is pretty limited so if you're playing for long stints it feels repetitive.
I've been tearing my hair out trying to get the 'beat zico HD' trophy. Just can't get my lap time below 30:95.

Just a heads up that the soundtrack is completely different in this remaster (for better and worse), the graphics are miles better, online works really well (not noticed any latency or glitches at all) and everything is still locked behind progression (you don't start with all teams and ships available).
Hope that helps.

It is a great remaster/remake. Even if you have all the original games like I do it is well worth it. Wipeout 2048 obviously has the biggest upgrade but Wipeout HD and Wipeout Fury have also been improved and are now a completely locked 60fps, the PS3 originals suffered from frame rate drops, especially Fury.

I feel the same. I've been waiting for a real 'new' Wipeout game for probably about 15 years now - I didn't rate Fusion on the PS2 much at all, didn't think 3 was as good as 2097, was a bit disappointed that HD/Fury was just a rehash of the PSP games (just a tiny bit though, because it's great) and now this is just another rehash, but this time with the Vita game added. That said, I don't have a Vita so haven't played 2048 and at £20 this is great value, considering it's 3 games in 1 with remastered visuals, new soundtrack, multiplayer, etc. It might feel like retreading old ground but it's ground well worth retreading. My only slight issue is the lack of custom soundtracks (I liked being able to add the 2097 soundtrack to HD/Fury, along with some other albums I thought were appropriate, mostly Joe Satriani's Surfing With the Alien). I might hold off buying it for now, only because I just bought Redout the other day and also want to get Formula Fusion (made by the original Wipeout development team).
Remember playing Wipeout on the ps1 demo disk. (which amazingly i still have.) Blew me away back then. Me and my brother used to spend hours trying to shave time off our best laps. Awesome. Had to order just for that sleeve alone. Hot from me.

Loved virtual cop..but in my opinon time crisis was a more fluid, quicker game. I still have the ntsc version, boxed, in mint condition. With the black gun. Me & my bro used to take turns trying to shave 10ths of a second of the 1st level. Awesome.

Hey guys - I bought this just in time at the offer price before it expired ; )
I had £1.50 in loyalty points so it was £18.45 in the end which you can't argue with. A few people have said the PS3 version still looks and plays superbly and I agree, I have it, but for £18.50 to have the 2048 add on and a smoother frame rate it's s good deal. If you Google the soundtrack it's also outstanding, basically a double album of Wipeout's best tunes.

I actually thought Wip3out was amazing and it was my favourite. I loved the stark design and more natural colours. No WipEout game since has that same floatiness, though. The ships don't sway like the original three.
