Yes, it's Wickes own brand - but for the price, plus 2 batteries and a carry case, its a bargain! 50% off - £99.99 reduced to only £49.99

Maybe a bargain for this one, but not that much of a bargain for the type. Get a decent one for £60 or £70 so the retain is over stated imo.

Yeah 50 quid ain't great shakes as most drills are li ion now so no longer a high value product. Not a bad price but not a hot deal.

What is a better buy ? for £50/60/70 or so ? Thanks
Got one of these a few weeks back great for basic diy like putting a gutter up on shed made it quick and easy but useless for anything heavier like drilling into masonry or concrete as it just hasnt the power,i have to get the corded drill out

I can vouch for the Erbauer drill I bought one 3 years ago from screwfix it was on offer at £49.95 at the time with 2.6ah batteries EXCELLENT drill still as good as the day I got it and it has been used a LOT. I had to drive an 80 mile round trip to c+c it but still worth it. Even at the new price it is well worth every penny. .

My erbauer stopped working just after 3 years of light use (but not a combi)

I have used this thing near enough daily, and with plenty of use on the hammer and still going as new. If you do not use it regularly, it is still a good idea to charge the batteries on a regular basis.

Bought a 18v Erbauer (not the model linked tho' (wasn't available then)) years ago for work. Gets used almost every week & still working nicely even if it doesn't look like it did all those years ago :S Even left it in a rain shower once, thought that was the end of it when it started making squeling sounds but once dried out & with more use it's now back to normal

Erbauer are seriously underrated tools in my view. And I would love to know who does the pricing at screwfix because a cordless circular saw (Erbauer) was £59.99 in jan then went up to £79.99 and now is £99.99 seriously peed off as I want one but not going to pay more than £59.99 for it grrrr not to mention my drill which is £30 more than 3 years ago and with smaller batteries???
