The Weston Air Festival looks great, unlike our Bournemouth Air Festival. 10 years of the same old guff! Red Arrows and the Typhoon are the only crowd pullers - and there's no Typhoon this year, and the Reds are doing 3 out of the 4 days. I think this will be (or should be) one of the final years unless they improve it greatly!

I'm going on Saturday. usually a good, cheap day out with lots to see and do. Heat added.

This show seems to get better year by year. Our town attracts an extra special amount of tourists on our Air Festival weekend. Even the locals decide to pop down. Definitely one our towns better ideas :sunglasses:

This year’s Air Festival is being held on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June, 10am to 6pm, on the Seafront and Beach Lawns in Weston-super-Mare. The free event is a mix of spectacular aerobatic displays and armed forces celebrations. There will be fun fair rides, military displays, trade stands and activities to entertain the whole family.
