Tiles makes use of the new Quick Settings Tile API (https://developer.android.com/about/versions/nougat/android-7.0.html#tile_api) to provide new tiles that can be added to Quick Settings to change system settings and take quick actions without leaving the context of the current app.
Tiles also uses the new Awareness API (https://developers.google.com/awareness/) to get the weather conditions for the current location.

Yeah, it's like why are all those blurays have HD-DTS surround sound when I have only stereo speakers on my TV, how useless is that ?

Hate to vote a freebie cold but only working on Android 7 seems stupidly restrictive considering how many devices are still on 6 (and under). Amazed how they were making any profit on an apps that only works on the very newest Android release....
