Hey guys, i went to the store today and can confirm that I just bought one for £482.99

I checked earlier also. £545 for s8+. £483 for s8. was told discount only was given to customers on 12 or 24mnth contract with 3...

I just phoned the store right now and the lady at the store confirmed that they sell the Samsung S8 for £483. I'm going down to the store this evening will confirm tonight.

This offer is for 30% off on ANY android phone if you buy the handset only, not if you start a contract.
The offer for an additional £50 discount is valid only if you start a new contract in store with an android phone.
As discussed earlier in the thread, we now know that this is for IN STORE only.

Fair enough to be annoyed that this is for 1 store only but you cant deny that this is a complete bargain for the 1.8million people in Northern Ireland.

EE have 20% off all instore contracts in Belfast too. It says on the post exclusive to Northern Ireland

Or, do the maths and realise that buying the OnePlus 3T or 5 outright and having a Sim Only deal (every network does them, some a lot better than others) will save you money in the long run, as well as far greater flexibility.

You could budget the £20-25 a month you'll be saving in line rental in a 'handset pot' which you dip into whenever you want to upgrade/change your handset. You're not a slave of the networks and their timings, then. And the resale value of your phone can even help you chop and change every 6 months if you're clever about selling on the old one.

o2 are the exclusive carrier in the UK so direct from them. They are still stocking the OnePlus 3T which is still a great phone (currently using one myself)

Just to clarify, this is only available in the Banbridge Outlet store. 30% off any handset with a min £10 PAYG sim, excluding Apple products. There wont be a chance of delivery as its an instore deal only. This deal has always been available from this particular store. One caveat I would say however is that they wont hold an awful lot of stock on many phones and I would say they would prefer to keep a few instock specifically for customer upgrades and new contracts. If you have any questions ask away.

As for those asking 'why only one store' - when a store is located within an 'outlet village' shopping complex, it must sell it's goods at a discount of the RRP. The point of the stores is normally end-of-line or seconds, but with electricals that's harder to maintain unless you have a good stock of refurbished equipment.
So retailers get great rent deals, on a busy retail estate, but have to take some hits on their margin to do so.
It's actually stipulated in the lease contract, so failure to offer discounts means they get kicked off the site.

Carphone Warehouse stores on McArthur Glen outlet villages sell refurbished handsets (where possible) from Geek Squad and offer a blanket 10% off accessories vs. 'normal' stores. You can still buy a 'new' handset on a contract, etc. though.
(Source: I used to work for Carphone Warehouse, looking after store sites and doing store refurbishments)
