So that's the whole of the UK then...? it maybe in your area but not everywhere and I do not see a 8gb deal for £12 on the site.

Spoke to 3 CS on live chat re this as I handed my notice in with 3 and got my PAC Code, he advised that I would need to speak to 3 CS on the phone, change my Pay Monthly sim to a PAYG, then apply for this deal and then use PAC code to transfer my old number
Seems a tad convoluted, is there a risk 3 will make a balls of it and I'll lose my number?

Is there a chance that 3 simply don't care? 99% chance.
Was paying £15 4GB unlimited calls and texts - who cares about them? 5 year customer with feel at home
8GB unlimited and feel at home came along a few months back for £12
Some allegedly got it on here. Not me. Such a pain giving them my PAC, ridiculous leaving them when I had paid all charges, they sent me threatening letters for 87p which wasn't even owed.
AWFUL company - never again!!!
Seriously doubt they'd pay out on cashback sites - although maybe that's what my phantom bill was for!!
No point in contacting CS - unless you have a thing about chatting to annoying Indians?

I got the same deal but without the cashback a few months ago and what i did is, i bought a payg vodafone, asked 3 for my pac and took my number to payg vodafone sim after the transfer complete took the pac from payg vodafone sim and transfer it to 3 again. The reason for that was that i was on 2 years handset and sim contract which ran out, also i got this deal thru uswitch, the 3 cs said that they have not such deal and this from uswitch it is probably fake or because they are third party they can sell them on price they want which are bull... because uswitch simply transfer you to 3 website with the deal. This way of transfer is the safest and i was told it from 3 cs because it is impossible to switch from 3 to 3.

Exactly the situation I'm in, when I spoke to retentions they said this deal was "probably a scam, they had never heard of 8gb for that price" and with the cashback ontop-"oh my word sir that offer is too good to be true". I tried to direct them to tcb but they said they couldn't access the site over there. Lol

exact same offer with Quidco (55 cashback). I think I will go for it because my vodafone simo contract is running out and im sick and tired of voda (last year when I took the simo via retentions then I was given smaller plan with a higher price, I eventually got it sorted with their manager so ended up paying 9/month for unl/unl/4gb, but I would imagine that at end of 12 month my -50% discount will dissappear so its a no go). Shame I missed the s8 deal with o2 the other day, but in all fairness I have one on back order from amazon.it that would be ~507 using revolut card. Adding this on top it would make 600 for the phone and 1 year simo. Assuming a similar deal can be found in a years time, I would end up paying less than 700 for a 2y contract with an s8, and less of a binding with a network, but I would have to take a hit upfront :disappointed: arghhh.... decisions, decisions...

I have gone for this deal, I asked Three for my PAC code but they said I could 'downgrade' to PAYG and in a month transfer my PAYG number to my new contract - Hopefully it will all work out!

14 Jun 17#11
Exactly the same as I am doing. Have given my 30 days notice, awaiting it to downgrade to PAYG next month. Is it possible to take this out now and transfer number once the switch to PAYG happens or am I better to wait?

Recently ordered 30GB SIM on 12 month contract for £20pm. Haven't yet activated it. Can I cancel it and get this deal instead? Coming from a 2GB contract 8GB will be plenty, don't need 30GB. Not for an extra £8 anyway!

It does depend, i find 3 the best for data on my 40 mile train ride through mid Essex to London each day, Vodafone is awful, EE is surprisingly patchy too.

I've been trying to get 2 new deals recently, phoned numerous times but had no luck. Had 2 contracts & wanted to increase their data allowance. Best I got today was 8GB data, 600 mins & unl texts on an Advanced plan for £10/month on my contract. 2nd contract best I could get was 4GB, unl mins & texts on Essential for £10 (gentleman said he couldn't match the 1st contract as I'd had the original contract for much longer). Reasonably happy with them as I have very little problems with Three's signal or speed.

i got offered 8gb 600mins unlimited for £10 or 30gb 200 mins and unlimited for £11 on a rolling contract previously had the u switch 4gb unlimited unlimited £9
Signal is great for me it's the customer service that really let's it down total waste of time ringing them. They just read the website when ever I ring them. I'm on £13 for 4 gb 600mins unlimited texts.
I can't see the £10 for 8gb on the link am I missing something or do I need to ring them?

I was on Three previously to this deal, customer of 8yrs+ but they wouldn't offer me a deal as good as this offer. That meant I had to leave them in order to re-join them and of course I wanted to keep my number. I ordered the new SIM/deal in parallel to ceasing my current contract with them (30 days notice required). I asked to take that to to PAYG (do this - don't ask for a PAC - that's for moving to another network!). The day it went to PAYG I went on online chat and got them to transfer my original number (PAYG) to my new SIM. It was really straight forward and the transfer completed in under 12 hours.

Ha! I've just had an entertaining conversation with Three about this deal. I was trying to use it to justify the renewal of my contract (I have the same allowance but pay £19 p/m). They were convinced that the deal didn't exist and after finally showing them where it was on their site, they refused to accept it!
Now to decide whether it's worth the hassle of getting a new sim and porting the number across etc...

If you search on the three site for the term '8GB' then click on the top result and refine the next page by '600 minute' contracts you should see it.

Hmmm, maybe depend on how you asked to leave. If you called up said you wanted to leave and asked for a PAC, they probably did as you requested? When I called I explained my scenario and that I wanted to understand the options for leaving and they offered either a PAC, take to PAYG or lose the number.

This deal doesn't seem to exist any more... If it ever did. Following those instructions you end up on a page where you need to select your sim and they all come out at £15 per month. Even the 'Standard' one.

I did a similar thing in the end. The Quidco link mentioned a 'trio sim' which will work with my iPhone (I hope) so I just got a new contract with cash back for £12 p/m. Then will phone and give my notice on this account today. Will then need to port my number across, but it's worth it for the saving and cash back...

That's the SIM that's standard size (if you need that), but you can also "pop out" a micro or nano SIM from it, so should fit any phone. Just make sure your iPhone is unlocked to work on the Three network.
They do send the Trio SIM via the Topcashback offer too.

Seems like a bargain of deal only if the area of use is covered for 4g as my home address is a blackspot but everywhere else i go is 4g doesnt make a difference since i use wifi at home. All in all worth a shot as the savings from it can go towards a handset upgrade whenever you go for one.

I now believe the indians have no control over these deals. im after unlimited data for 16. if we can see where people are coming from on a lower deal and for how long we can game their computer. the indians just give whatever the pc says the benefits of a third world call centre. come on peeps post your entrance deal if yoyr on 16 unlimited

My Topcashback didn't track... will a manual claim work with Topcashback, OR am I better off returning the SIM to Three and re-purchasing this, hoping the cashback tracks the second time? Obviously without the cashback this isn't a deal.....!
