Found 5L Ready to Use Screenwash for £1.50 in Tesco then the worker said its BOGOF. So 10L Screenwash for £1.50, not bad. Not sure if this is nationwide

It has to be blue as it's regulated by the EU. Give it 18 months and you'll be able to get whatever colour you want.

That's not how it works. The people that make it will still sell it in the EU, so it'll still be blue, because who will bother making a UK only version? The only difference is we won't be able to vote on the legislation that affects the colour of our screenwash

It's ok, especially now we're in the summer and chances of freezing are slim. The biggest issues with ready mixed screen wash are in the winter as the ready mixed have quite a high ratio of water in them. The best screen wash I have found is Lidl Concentrate. Goes down to something stupid like -50 C (Depending on concentrate). 10 litres is not even 2 fills for my Octavia (as it takes a massive 5.5 litres having headlight washers also). A good deal though I reckon.

I'm so surprised at this ready to use screenwash being so popular - now. No wonder todays youth can't do simple practical tasks such as work out the concentration they need and dilute it to suit. And the inefficiency and environmental impact of so much water being processed and travelling around the supply chain and the plastic wastage. Water is cheap at home, or free if you don't have a water meter or use rainwater as was recommended in the past.

No offer round here. I would never buy ready mixed. Just add water to concentrated and get more. I bought five of Halfraud's Berry concentrate (love the smell!) when it was reduced about a year or more back to just over a couple quid (+ vouchers I had, made it a giveaway). Still got four 5 litres left!
No good buying unless it's reduced. Usually it's a fiver or more for 5L.
We could not vote on the EU regulation either.Only the MEPs could.

I bought one back in April from Tesco Harrow at regular price and tried to get rid of it ever since.
The only thing good about it that it has some bitter substance in it to prevent drinking by children.
Other than that it's really just scaly coloured water. All it does it leaves some white-blue scale on the noozles.
It's so weak that it doesn't evaporate and drops stay on the screen even after wiping. It looks like water and it doesn't even smell!
It's just like the cheap crap that car hire companies use.
I have never had worse in 10 years in this country and will never buy that crap again.
Freezing cold. You should be paid to use this.

Stop moaning.... Buy Sonax Nano Pro, it has no colour at all and small 250ml bottle makes 25l of screen wash. This is what I am using and never change it for something else.

Why does screenwash always have to be blue?
I've got a white car and, when I've been "skooshing" my windscreen, I get blue streaks down the paintwork. Never noticed before on my two previous cars that were both black.

It doesn't - just the most common/cheapest version is blue.
Halfords do various flavours/colours. There was an offer on here with Euro Car Parts for Bubblegum scented screenwash which was pink quite recently... outside my local Shell garage they have purple 'berry scented'.

I never understand people buying ready mix instead of concentrate. All that packaging, transportation cost, need to re-purchase more often with associated costs...

The Lidl stuff is unbelievably good. -60 it goes down to. I live in Scotland and I've still got a third of a bottle left I bought about 4 years ago. I bought a bottle of cheap stuff one summer and use the bottle to mix the Lidl stuff to about 1:10 ratio in summer and 1:5 or so in Winter. Never failed.
