If you don't manage to get one a good alternative is a raspberry pi and snes controllers from Amazon + Retropie. You can then install more than the games listed for a lot less money. Not as cool as this but just an option.

I believe the rrp is actually £79.99 and smyths slightly messed up on the price last night hopefully they will honor the price if not no biggie.

The general public never cease to amaze me. Wasn't the mini NES just a bit carp and you can play all the games, with wireless controllers on a Wii?

Wishing I had never sold my N64 that was pristine and with a load of games - then again I kinda grew out of it when I became bored of the games and an adult - so maybe not!!

Would love to play NES games and Master system games though now - craving those basic graphics and sound. We all used to play on our NES once the Super NES was released.

My only local store is currently having a refurbishment so click and collect not available for a few weeks so wont let me order even though the click and collect counter will be up and running again by release.

Add a few ingredients: small wad of cash, a scaled 3d printed NES case, a handful of components and some NES style 8Bitdo Pro pads.......cool as ice!

I managed to get one pre-ordered instore at Game in Aberdeen.
Was told over the phone that chances of them still taking orders by tomorrow would be slim.
If there's a Game nearby and you want one, i'd give them a try

Ya. Got one reserved with them for £10. Apparently they put it up to £50 at some point during the day because people were coming in and trying to order 10 at once. Phoned them to make sure the £10 still counted (it did) and that's what they said.

''No payment has been taken yet. As part of our Pre-Order price promise, if the price decreases between now and when your order is dispatched, you will be charged the lower price.

Someone ordered 3 yesterday (I'm sure it was presents not to scalp greedily) and had theirs cancelled so I'm unsure whether they may limit to one per customer

would have ordered a bagful but Smyths are woeful at cancelling orders if you order too many, and wont cancel until the last minute if its click and collect.

And why do you think that is?

given previous experience they can and will cancel anytime security checks they call it.Thats why they are not sold out yet and might keep coming back as available as orders are cancelled.

Some are available 300+ miles away from London...

Seems to all be OOS. Which it should be I guess as pre orders. But won't let me select any store...am I missing something?

I would also like to know why Nintendo aren't supplying a power cable with this? it's like selling a mobile phone with no charger!

GAME in store is still taking pre-orders for guaranteed day 1 release but they want (wait for it) a £50 deposit!!

Only in stock in NI now.

Nearest store to me that is still available to click and collect is 273 miles away... lol. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if it changes!

Anyone had an email or text from Smyths yet for their pre-order? I know they're in stock as my brother was able to reserve two at Smyths in Longton yesterday after the Manager confirmed they were in stock and they had some cancellations!

I called the store again today and they told me to wait for an email or text. They seemed pretty clueless about the whole thing. :smile: Think I might just walk in tomorrow when they open.

just got text, ready to collect at midnight...only being held 48rs

I got a text about 7:30pm saying payment declined and I had 24 hours to update my card details - DOH!
