Boxed version. If it was a download, the size hasn't been announced yet. Probably no larger than 15GB if compared to Zelda but truth is no one but Nintendo know yet as it will all depend on the optimisation and programming.

sounds like you have already bought/played mario games if you say you will wait for reviews? since when was the actual last bad mario 3d platformer? pretty much never - even sunshine wasn't that bad and that came out 15 years ago.

Trouble with pre-ordering from nintendo is that things often don't arrive on the actual release day which is a big deal if you're waiting for it with eager anticipation (son's switch for example!) - unlike amazon which always delivers on release day. Amazon will almost certainly be a bit cheaper than this soon as it's not released for ages (I reckon £47.99 for prime).

Agreed, they screw up thier pre orders all the time. I didn't get my Switch on release day or Street Fighter. The only good thing that may happen is they'll send you the download code if it's not going to arrive on release day which is what they did for Street Fighter and I believe they did this for MK8 on the Wii U. So essentially free IF they screw up.

I want to play this on release day so there is NO WAY I am trusting the incompetents that run the out sourced Nintendo uk store, Hut group iirc.
well I ordered, the hat might be rubbish, but I don't care, I know when I got the game and I'm flinging my hat around on screen, I am just going to love it.....it can go with my rubbishy Sonic hat I got with the Nintendo 3ds :laughing:

Who would wash it..? - its meant more of a decorative thing instead of a wearable item - I doubt we would see many people around town wearing it for example.
