my current mouse is the Logitech g5, it's a little long in the tooth and the laser sensor is struggling with small precise movements, I also had a Logitech v150 laser that struggled but was better then the g5 for tracking but it's left button gave up the ghost. I have been considering the g403 recently as apparently the sensor is good but it's optical which may be an issue with the high lacquer surfaces I typically work on. I have an el cheapo dell optical which just doesn't track in 2 of the places I work from. so I have started eyeing up dark field laser mice like the MX master 2 / MX anywhere 2 or Razer lancehead. my struggle is real

some sensors incorporate acceleration at the hardware level so I need one with a sensor that doesn't have this. as for DPI I tend to work at the low to mid end of the spectrum around 400 to 600 dpi, my current mouse has on the fly DPI changing which is useful as long as you can set custom values.

Am tempted to buy this, and sell of my Razer naga chroma wireless, stopped playing Pc games, but wouldn't mind having a decent mouse for work, and if I decide to go back into standard games, I would be covered.

Had this little sqeaker well over a year and it has been excellent. Well worth the money. Heat man.

Had this for about 3-4 years. The scrollwheel doesn't work properly anymore. The grippy rubbery material on the side is actually foam type of material which degrades into a sticky foam over time.

anyone recommended a precision mouse with no acceleration preferably wireless that's comfortable to use all day, I work on pixel perfect drawing's, won't be used for gaming so don't need extra feature like lights or a horde of buttons

Acceleration can be turned off using the mouse properties dialog in Windows. Are you just looking for a mouse that has really low DPI perhaps?

One of the optical logitech wireless mice might do the job. Logitech has rarely failed me. I've had the g400s for nearly 4 years now. If you don't go for wirleless I would recommend the G402.
