I really want this camera but waiting for it to drop below £400, I'm assuming the £75 cashback can't be claimed from this retailer? That would make it a steal!

The £494 quoted on Parks website includes the cashback so the price on this deal is wrong

Sorry but it looks like you have missed the deal as the price has now gone up: -
It was very clearly marked on their website as per the post.
"Including £75.00 cashback. You pay £494.00 today and claim £75.00 cashback"

a photo' has become a disposable item, sent to the cloud and forgotten.
when finally there is a cloud burst all those memories will be lost.
" we control your memories. pay £XXX now or a monthly payment of £X.5 before they are deleted"
Same thing can be said about why buy a TV, computer, laptop, audio system and so on. They exist because people other than you do find a use for them

A smartphone camera is convenient because we always carry them with us, but they lack quality. They can't deal with low light, they don't produce accurate colours, they don't always focus properly, you can't get proper depth of field effects unless it's in post-processing etc etc.
For those times you know you'll be taking photos and have a big spare pocket, it's worth carrying a dedicated camera. I know my panasonic lx100 beats every smartphone I or the missus have ever owned easily, especially for 4K video.

It has a large 1 inch sensor and a high quality "fast" zoom lens that delivers incredible results that are vastly superior to what even a good phone can produce. This camera is as good as a full on DSLR with a kit lens on it in a vastly smaller size. That is why it is so expensive, because they have crammed incredible technology into something very small which is not easy to do.

Already own one of these. Absolutely fantastic camera! Low light ability is amazing and takes great photos. Got it for £250 last year from John Lewis in clearance and my SO used to work for Sony

Isn't this an equally good deal at £419?
